                               Holt's POV
"Yes. Of course, I would. You're my everything. It's pissing me off that, you're getting crap from people you don't even know."

"It's fine though. It's not the first time."

"Let's drop this. We can come back to it later. Did you sleep?"

"Yeah. I kinda did. I was worried about you."

"Sleep then. I'll go back to sleep too."

"You don't have to."

"Eh. I know."

Now it's uh...5 years later and I've been avoiding my uncle since then. He wasn't invited to me and Anabelle's wedding. Yeah, there's no way, I was gonna let him be there. He would've fucked that day up. We have a 4 year old daughter named "Ariella"

I felt someone jump on me. I groaned.

"Good morning daddy!"

I opened my eyes and saw Ariella sitting on me.

"Morning princess. How'd you sleep?"

"Good."

"Where's mommy?"

"In the kitchen."

"Is she cooking? I don't smell anything."

She shook her head.

"She's on the phone."

"With?"

"Aunt Charli."

"Oh! Is everything okay?"

"Mhm! She wants to visit us!"

"That's great. Did she say when?"

She shook her head.

"No. She's talking to mommy about it now. Have you talked to grandma lately?"

"My mom or mommy's mom?"

"Your mom."

"I talked to her, last night. She's fine."

Anabelle walked into our bedroom.

"Finally! You've been sleeping all day!"

"I-I have? I-I didn't mean to. I had a hard time, falling asleep."

"You should've woke me up."

"I didn't want to bother you. You were sleeping so peacefully. How's my sister?"

"Which one?"

"Ari said, you were talking to Charlize."

"Oh yeah. I was. Then Holy called."

"How's she?"

"She's good. She just wanted to see if, we're going to her house for Christmas."

"I still haven't decided."

She sat down in front of me.

"You should go. You haven't spent time with your family in, I don't know how long."

"I don't want to see him."

"Babe you can't avoid him forever."

"I've been doing it for almost 6 years now."

"It's killing you though. I can tell. Curran, I literally don't ask for anything."

"You asked for a baby."

"Don't be a wiseass. Just go. If we see him, we'll leave."

"Let's go daddy! I wanna play with Kylie!"

"Okay. Alright."

"Yay!"

Ariella jumped off the bed. She ran away.

"I'm scared. I don't want to go to jail. You guys need me."

"I know. We need you."

"If we see him, we can leave? You mean it?"

"Yes."

We all got ready then got in the car. We got to Holy's and Ariella flew out of the car.

"Slow down!"

We got out of the car and walked to the front door.

"Aunt Holy! We're here!"

The front door opened and we saw Holy. Ariella looked up at her.

"Be nice to my mommy! I don't like you, being mean!"

I facepalmed myself.

"Ari what the hell?"

"KYLIE?! I'M HERE!"

Ariella ran inside. We walked inside.

"I-I'm sorry about her."

"It's fine. She's right though. We really should fix things. It's been long enough."

I went to walk away but, Holy grabbed my wrist.

"We have to talk."

"Oh no. Who's dead?"

"No one. Not yet at least."
