Chapter 42: Żniwiarzs

So everyone began to train intensively especially Morgan and Alejandra with their giant forms in which they hada few sparing matches. During that training Tomek began hearing a voice in his head telling him to say the word "Sas" out loud, so that's what he does and after shouting out these words he notices how his sword emits a white flash as it began to change as it turned from a katana to a nodachi sword with a European cross guard to protect its user luckily the sword was very lightweight so Tomek didn't have to worry about the weight issues which usually come with these big swords. One of the 3 green jewels on the sword's hilt began to glow and then the voice that Tomek heard in his voice began to congratulate him for unlocking the first upgrade. Tomek was very excited about the upgrade he had to show it to everyone. They were impressed with the upgrade especially Viraj as he was the first one to unlock the Sas upgrade for his Krzyż.

After that everyone continued with their training for half an hour and then they were called by Charles to enter the bus which Viraj and Przemysław managed to once again improve as it would be able fly much faster than it did before. They were flying back to Switzerland to finish off the Shinigami once and for all. The Journey took them 3 hours thanks to the upgrades to the bus. They landed in the same area near the Swiss Alps from which they began their mission to save Morgen.

Everyone except for Morgen, Alejandra and The Beetle decided to enter the ventilation chaft that Przemysław and Tomek entered during their mission to save Morgen. In the meantime Morgen and Alejandra transform into their giant forms respectively and the Beetle grew up to 14 metres about the same height as Morgen's Four Arm Giant form. "Are you ready maties, arrr" said the Beetle as he prepared for the fight of his life time. "Ready us we will ever be" replied Alejandra and Morgen in unison as they prepared for the fight.

As this was happening Przemysław and everyone else were in the ventilation chaft and asked Charles why did he decided they should go back to the Shinigami base and Charles explains that a solar eclipse is coming and usually an organisation like the Shinigami is very likely going to commit a ritual since they have all kinds of people work for them like werewolves and vampires. Kevin didn't like sitting around in vent and listening as the eclipse was coming in few hours as Charles would later mention. He felt like he need to act now as the enemy could be doing something very bad, so Kevin punches a hole in the vent and gets out of it to get to the enemy as fast as possible. Viraj, Charles and Przemysław thought that this was a reckless and short-sighted move on Kevin's part as it now alerts the enemy of their position. Tomek who saw this decided to join Kevin mainly because he didn't want Kevin to get himself killed. Of course, Fabina, and Chris join Tomek as they didn't want Tomek to die. The rest of the group decided to stay in the vent and continue to travel. Przemysław wished the best of luck for his friends in Kevin's group.

Kevin proved to be valiant warrior thanks to his special gauntlets which granted him super strength. And Tomek managed to save Kevin just in time with his newly upgraded Krzyż sword as he sliced through a robot. The robots were the same V1 model that Przemysław and Sabin fought back in China. Kevin, Tomek, Fabina and Chris continued running down the hall. Przemysław and his group finally reached the computer they have last visited when they when they were rescuing Morgen.

Przemysław and Viraj decided to uses their combined intelligence to find out where the boss of the Shinigami was hiding at. But before they could hack into the computer, they were ambushed by 4 men in black wearing skull masks and metal gauntlets with retractable claws. It was the same commandos that Przemysław and Tomek faced when they were rescuing Morgen in fact, they were carrying the same weapons as they had during their first encounter.

"Who are you" asked Louis out of curiosity holding his Shotgun axe. "We call ourselves the Żniwiarzs. We are the best elite unit of the Shinigami and this is the last time any of you will mess with any of our operations ever again." Replied the Żniwiarz armed with shotguns as he began shooting at our heroes, yelling "die, die, die" continuously. Our heroes thankfully were dodging his shots. 4 more Żniwiarzs have appeared each also carrying a different weapon as one was carrying a giant axe, one was carrying a machine gun, the third one was a rocket launcher and the last one was carrying a flamethrower.

The Żniwiarz with a flamethrower shot a powerful blue flame at Sabin as he tried to burn her but it proved to be completely useless as Sabin's elemental powers made her immune to fire and electricity. So, Sabin started controlling the fire and shot it back at the Żniwiarz with all her might. The Żniwiarz manged to dodge the fireball and decided to uses his claws instead of his flamethrower on Sabin. The Żniwiarz tried to kill her with his claws but Sabin managed to dodge every attack and knock him out with huge burst of water from her hand.

Meanwhile Przemysław was facing 3 Żniwiarzs. It was the one with 2 swords followed by the one with a giant hammer and one with giant axe. So Przemysław shouts out the spell "Upanga (Swahili for sword)" In flash a white see-through  sword appeared in Przemysław's hands which he used to defend himself from the Żniwiarzs. They proved to formidable opponents so much so, that Charles decided to lend a hand as he brought with him a sack and shouts "Clubs out of the sack". And suddenly 4 clubs came out of the bag and began flying round the room very quickly and beating the Żniwiarzs that Przemysław was facing to the pole. " Thanks for the assist" said Przemysław. "You're welcome, I had a feeling my parents special graduation present would come in handy, these magic clubs like magic table at the mansion are very hard and expensive to get." Przemysław smiles as he begins to freeze the distracted Żniwiarzs to the bone with his left glove. Soon only 2 Żniwiarzs remained and one of them was about to attack Sabin but noticed him and blew him away with a very strong gust of wind making him hit against a wall and knocking him unconscious. While the last one was who was armed with a scythe was about to attack Charles but he was knocked unconscious by Captain Europe's shield to the head.

The battle was difficult and it resulted in the death of   5 people in the room which were Joao Rocha, Chihiro Tsujihara, Amanda Kamathi, Alfred Jones and Cian McGuiness.  the Żniwiarzs were elite warriors as they were fast and resistant to the chainsaw gun's bullets thanks to their armor. Przemysław, Charles, Louis , Captain Europe, Viraj, Sabin, and everyone who was still alive began a minute of silence for their dead comrades after that Viraj began hacking into the computer and told the location of where the Shinigami boss was stationed at. " We have defeated the Shinigami boss other wise our friends would have died for nothing and our efforts would be in vain" Said Przemysław trying to motivate his friends to keep fighting which they agree and they continued their journey to where the main enemy lies.

Meanwhile, Kevin and his group were defeating hordes of Shinigami troopers and robots called the Vernichtungs. Once they finally got into a hangar the Shinigami began sending their special Vaca robots to defeat Kevin but they proved to be nothing to Kevin thanks to his special gloves. So the Shinigami send in a werewolf to take care of him and they had a good wrestle for a few minutes but even he was defeated despite the werewolf being in his full wolf form. " Is that all you've got" Shouted Kevin. " Shush you'll provoke the enemy," said Tomek.

Soon they heard the clamping of hooves coming from another room and out of the room come out a knight riding on a red horse and carrying with him a great and mighty sword. " You asked" replied the horseman.
