This starts the first longer story arch, six chapters altogether. I don't want to spoil anything about the mission, but now we start to see how things and choices in the past may intertwine with the present.

Bane was sitting in the cockpit of the Justifier, going through the logs, and doing testing, as they had been making some repairs for the ship on a small spaceport in the Outer Rim.
"Gonna be away for ten days. An old mercenary acquaintance contacted me, and offered a mission I could not turn down," She told him casually when running a scan.
"When?" Bane's voice was only vaguely interested, his concentration being on the data rolling on the screen.
"I'm leaving tomorrow."
"That soon? Now he showed a hint of interest. "Thought there were a couple of ...free days." He gave Her a crooked grin.
"Yeah, me too, but the credits were too good to pass, even if it's merc work. You have to make the best of it before tomorrow morning." She flashed him a smile back.
Later that evening Bane came to Her.
"You sure you cannot pass that mission?"
"Why?" she looked at him questioningly. Bane normally didn't ask her to reconsider any contracts She was taking.
"I just got a pretty good job, but I would have liked you to gather some intel. Something seems off, and I'd like to get some things checked out that I can't get, just in case." Then Bane waved his hand dismissively. "Nah, you know, forget it. It's ok. Shouldn't be a problem, it's just another mission."
"I can try to find out now, before I go, whatever I can."
"I Don't think so... You and I have other business to attend to before morning..." He had an all-too-familiar look on his face, and She chuckled when Bane approached her.
She left with the Dalcassian early the next morning, and headed to the meeting point in Nar Shaddaa. She and Nevar, who had hired Her had a long history all the way back, when She was a fresh new bounty hunter, and still sometimes did merc work. The guy was brilliant on the field, and effective as hell on the missions, but had no interest, nor respect for good intel. She sneered, when thinking of that. It was years since they had been working together, and She wondered if anything had changed. It's still good to see him. She smiled a little bit at old memories.
When She arrived at the spaceport they were meeting at, there was a quite prominent group of mercenaries gathered in front of a very nice-looking cargo ship. Nevar was standing in the middle of them, hailing Her, and smiling widely. He was a human in his late forties, standing 6'6ft tall, and had a massive, muscular frame. He was towering over everybody else, and his greying hair and sideburns had a silvery tone. Well, he hasn't changed much, except the color of his hair... She waved and smiled back, joining the others. It felt somehow good after so long to see both Nevar, and some other mercenaries She knew there, and to be going on a common mission. They exchanged some greetings before loading the rest of the equipment, and starting preparations. There was a handsome amount of different sorts of equipment. Must be something bigger...
"I will prep you for the details after we take off. It's a very straightforward mission, capturing a target alive, and delivering it to the contact, but make no mistake, this particular target is a difficult one, and there are risks involved. So, if you are concerned for your life, better leave now." He smiled, knowing that no one was going to leave. He knew who to hire.
