Nevar stayed at the back of the Dalcassian, but after several hours he entered the cockpit.

"Care to explain why your astromech is following my every step?"

She glanced back at Nevar, Bane's short snort echoing through the comms.

"It's nothing personal. R3-S7 follows everybody on the Dalcassian if I'm not around, or have a visual." She waved Her hand towards the screens, where the feed through R3's lense was showing among other cameras.

"Doesn't follow me," Bane's voice stated through the comms.

"It did for the first five years we knew." Again they heard a low snort through comms.

"That doesn't count. That was still just business."

"...And two years after that when it wasn't."

"Lady, you have trust issues."

Both of them chuckled. She glanced at Nevar, not even caring what the man thought. ThenShe got up.

"I'll call it a day. R3, take it from here."

She woke up the next morning, and entered the ship's galley area, finding Nevar there already.

"You're an early Mynok."

"Yeah, it was a bit hard to sleep, hearing your astromech checking me every half an hour."

"Sorry for that. R3 takes his duties seriously," She smirked.

"But, I have been using the time well." He showed the layout of their target ship, and started going through the plan and different tactics and scenarios they might have to prepare for. She smiled. The man was excelling in operational planning as always. She listened to him, and filled the gaps. Talking about the mission was as easy as it had always been, and She was relieved that the discussion didn't go astray in anything else. Bane's voice awakened the comms a while later.

"We are arriving in the system. Is the big guy gonna be up to this?"

"I can speak for myself." Nevar's voice was immediately irritated.

"And who said I wanted to talk to you?" It was clear that Bane was poking him on purpose, enjoying rattling the merc's cage.

"Quit it, both." She wasn't sure if it was even wise to proceed, but She started recapping what they had gone through with Nevar, and as Bane, surprisingly, listened without snarky backlashes it gave a sign that he at least agreed with the operational suggestions, giving only a couple remarks which Nevar conversely heard out and agreed. After several hours all was clear.

"Get your ass on the Justifier then, big guy. We have work to do."

She grinned at him. "It wasn't easy to find an enviro-suit of your size. I'll help you with it."

The self-contained, hermetic suit had a jetpack attached to it, and She checked that everything was in order.

"You're ready to go. ...Good luck." She had hoped to look self-assured, but Nevar's expression told She had failed in the attempt.

"We can call this off. I really am not comfortable with this, with your part. It's too risky."

"Let me decide what risks are too much for me. We have agreed on the plan, let's stick with it."

Nevar sighed. "Just ...Stay in one piece, all right?"

He stepped in the airlock, and helped himself in space, making his way to the Justifier with jetpacks.

She just stood there for a while, watching after Nevar. By nine moons, I hope they won't kill each other. ...Would be nice to stay in the books of the living myself too... She exhaled, and returned to do the last preparations.
