The fire within the workers in both the companies had just began. And it hasn't died out yet but yes I'll admit, we are way more cool and calm about it now. Anyway that's not the point. During that time Breanne and your dad used to be rivals for the best web developer. It was like the classic 'inter-office' tournament or something", he chuckled a bit after that but quickly continued. "But Breanne got fired. How? Long story now so focus. The last time William and Breanne went to the seminar, they also attended a party, we always have one of those with every company at the top to the bottom. From the freshies to the ancient. In that, there was samsung present and one of the workers there, let's say had a pretty good relation with Breanne. The guy was named something Ren Dono or whatever, not the point. The party was almost over and that's when Breanne and Ren decided go kissing around the pool. And definitely they thought no one was around. But somebody definitely was and they were there long enough to take a clear picture and anonymously expose it too. And after it was exposed, people were furious and even if the boss didn't wanna, he'd need to fire her. That was the last time we heard about her, or anyone did. Rather than when we got the news of her suicide. That is all!", Luke completed
"Hmm...And did my dad ever go to Breanne's house etc? Just asking"
"I think that will be too friendly for rivals", Luke commented.
Once we greeted eachother goodbye, I ran to Dominique.

On the way back, I explained him everything. From technological war to Breanne's firing.
He did ask me one question though, "And we still haven't then got an answer as to why Ace knows your dad"
"And we also don't know who exposed her. There's gotta be a reason", I spoke in a serious tone.
Once we made it back to our respective homes, I changed my clothes and took a bath. It's been a lot of truth for today.

By the time I came out and into the living room, I could see Ace's head poking in through the window that I left open.
"You are careless", was his first line after I kindly let him in
"You're such an ungreatful jerk"
"That's me. Also If you're gonna tell that today is not thursday, I already know"
"Then what do you want?"
"Hm...cutting straight to the point? I need a favour". Not another one please
"Okay.......?"
"Can you sing with me for the annual concert? Mrs.Zuich wrote my name in. But the songs we chose need a female singer and I thought might be you can do that", he reasoned
"Sure but I'll be absent tomorrow"
"Yeah that's fine cause rehearsals for music start next Tuesday", he then stood up to leave. And I would've let him but I wanted to know which songs I'll be dealing with.
"Woah woah woah. What songs will we be doing?", I stopped him in his way
"Um....Until I found you, Minefields, Heart will go on, Can't help falling in love, A thousand years and no time to die", he answered sharply
"Okay. Good then I'll come prepared on tuesday. Thanks"
He nodded awkwardly but didn't leave. And the moment he opened his mouth I knew what he was gonna say so I answered it for him
"You can stay". I locked the door and went upstairs. He followed me to my room and no. Nothing happened. You guys are disgusting.

We just layed down and heard the songs which we were gonna perform. We even softly sang along with it and I really can't do high notes if I'm listening to myself. So when the bridge for Celine Dion's song came, he put his earbud to my ears too. So that I couldn't hear myself at all. And when I hit the notes, I noticed Ace's smile. It was all and the only the reason I needed to keep singing, hell it's the only reason I need to live. He didn't go that night. It's not like he would've. And I didn't want him to either...........
