35) it's almost Christmas

(A few weeks later)

Andreas POV
It's almost Christmas and everyone in the house is wearing matching sweaters for are little Christmas party. After everyone got ready it was time for us to go to Tia Andy's house. "Come on girls let's go." Mom yelled "coming" I yell back as I run downstairs "where's scar?" Mom asked me "she's still getting ready." I told her "okay go to the car with mama. Me and scar will be out soon." She tells me. Me and mama go to the car.

Scarlett's POV
"Come on girls let's go." I heard mom yell then I heard Andi yell back "coming." I was still trying to get ready it don't feel like Christmas uncle Dean won't be there why should I have to go. I get my sweater on that matches moms and Andi then I look at myself in the mirror "this is so stupid." I say to myself then I hear a knock "come in." I say "hey kiddo you almost ready?" Mom asked "I guess. do we have to go?" I asked as I turned to face her "yea kiddo we do." She told me I sit on my bed to put my shoes on "but why it's not gonna be the same mom." I told her "I know but don't you wanna see you Tia, aunties and uncles?" She asked me "yea I do but we seen them at thanksgiving mom and he won't be there it won't be the same." I tell her "sweetheart I know it won't and I know it will be hard at first but you'll have fun with your cousins." She tells me " Pru won't be there mom." I say "you sure about that?" She asked with a look like she knew something. "You know something." I say "maybe maybe not you won't know if you don't come." She say "fine." I say we both get up and get to the car.

Maya's POV
Once we got to Andy's we went inside and to my surprise Ben hadn't made it yet with his kids and Pru. The girls went to say hey to everybody "how is she doing?" Carina asked me "she misses him and losing Pru at thanksgiving like at upset her. I think we need to get her into therapy sooner or later shes been shutting down." I tell her "we can look into it. I'm sure it will help." She says
About 10 minutes later Ben comes in with his boys and wife. "Hey guys so?" I say Ben shakes his head "sorry man maybe new years y'all can get her." I say "hopefully" he says I look over to Andrea, Scarlett , tucker and Joey. All smiling I looked back to Scarlett's and I could tell she was putting on a show for her sister and cousins. She would look over at me every now and again looking for Pru.

Scarlett's POV
How come they didn't get her for Christmas. There supposed to have her all the time. This whole thing isn't far. When did my life become such a mess I mean it's probably always been a mess but this is more. The past few weeks on moms days off she has been staying with me in my room because I'm to scared of losing her like I lost zio  Andrea and uncle dean. I can't lose her if I lose her then I lose me and I've been close to that a lot lately. I know it's not fair to mama when moms not with her at night but my fear gets the best of me. "Scar you okay?" Andi asked me "huh? Oh yea I'm fine." I tell her and get up and walked over to mom and leaned into her. "You okay kiddo?" She asked as she put her arm around me. I nodded and ripped my arms around her "you Sure?" She asked "I'm ready to go home." I finally tell her. "We will in a few okay." She tells me I just nod. I wasn't feeling the party in the first place.

"Hey mini maya how you?" Vic asked "I'm okay." I tell her " come on I wanna show you something." She says I look at mom and she nods "you can go I'll be here when you get back." She tells me "okay.." I say as I slowly let go of her.

Carinas POV
Seeing the way Scarlett did with maya and has been doing is starting to worry me. I'm afraid she might have bipolar disorder like my papa and brother. "Bella I believe we need to get an appointment with a doctor for the Bambina." I whisper to maya and she nods.

Scarlett's POV
"Where are we going auntie Vic?" I asked "right outside for a quick second I wanna give you something." Vic said "but we do gifts later." I tell her "your right and this year dean had you and he wanted me to keep it so he didn't lose it so." She tells me as we get to her car "but the changed me to having Pru because....um you know." I say "I know that's why you are getting this now." She says and hands me a box. "What is it?" I asked "just open it."  She told me as I opened the box I seen a picture of me uncle dean and Pru a few months before the explosion mama had taken it for us a note on the picture said 'scar we love you always and forever stay strong my little angel -love uncle Dean' I could feel the tears fell my eyes "this is amazing." I said slowly "he thought you would your not one for jewelry or stuff like that so." She told me "this is perfect.. I miss him auntie Vic." I said with tears in my eyes. "I know kid I know me to." She said as she hugged me.

Third person POV

After they went back inside everyone sat around the living room exchanging gifts and laughing but one of them was just looking at the gift she got from her uncle. Scarlett's wasn't sure what was going on in her head right now but she was happy that even though Dean wasn't with her; she could feel him there just like she could feel her zio.

Scarlett's POV
After the party we went home I sat the picture on my bed side table and laid down when I heard a small knock "come in." I said and mom walked in "hey kiddo just wanted to see how you were doing." She said "I'm okay just sleepy." I tell her "okay love get some sleep okay." She said as she kissed my cheek went to turn to leave "who gave you this?" She asked pointing at the picture "oh that was from uncle Dean  auntie Vic gave it to me tonight because we had each other in the secret Santa  but.... He um you know." I said getting sad again I hate death I hate the word. " yea I know and that sweet." She tells me " yea it's perfect." I smile. "Okay get some sleep kiddo." She said "mom?" I said as she was walking out "yea?" She replied "I love you and I'm sorry I've been keeping you from mama the last few weeks." I tell her "I love you to kiddo. It's okay kiddo don't worry I'm here if you need me and same with mama. I don't mind stay the night with you." She smiled "goodnight mom." I say "goodnight kiddo sleep tight." She says and leaves my room not long after I fall asleep.
