Chapter Twenty-Nine - Young

Baby woke up to see Percy tugging his pajama shirt off his body clumsily. First she noticed his perfect back and flexing muscles, then she noticed that he was actually stuck in his own shirt.

"Ah fuck." His muffled groan made her brows raise.

She covered her mouth and held back the laugh she wanted to let out. Watching him struggle with something so simple made him less intimidating than his appearance.

Once Percy finally got rid of his shirt, his hair was sticking up in various directions. Unable to hold back any longer, Baby laughed as she stuffed her face into a pillow.

"Good morning." He greeted cheerfully, despite the red tint on his cheeks from being caught in a silly position.

Baby peeked at him from behind the pillow and smiled shyly, "Morning." She sat up in the bed and ran her hands over the sheets, "What time is it?"

"A little past noon probably."

A gasp left the girl and she sprung out of the bed, "We're so late for school!"

Now it was Percy's turn to laugh, he leaned back on his closet and watched Baby frantically pull at the bed sheets trying to make the bed.

"It's also Saturday."

The girl paused mid-pillowfluffing to look at her boyfriend, "Saturday... No school."

Percy snorted, "Yeah, no school."

Baby laughed in relief.

After hastily taking turns to shower and then having lunch downstairs, the couple returned to Percy's room to watch a movie.

They argued about whether to watch a classic romance or an action.

"I vote Transformers. If you want romance, there's some in there." Percy grumbled.

Baby pouted, "You're no fun. What's wrong with Maid In Manhattan?"

A sigh left Percy as he propped himself against his headboard as he reached for the keypad of his laptop, "It's annoying."

"You're annoying." She sniped back.

Turning to look at her, he narrowed his eyes but let a smile slip.

"You're lucky you're cute. Fine, we'll watch your dumb movie. But afterwards we're watching Transformers."

The pair didn't make it through to the second movie. Instead they both fell asleep curled up against each other on the bed. Percy's hands had found place on Baby's waist and the latter had her palms pressed to his chest.
