"BEND please.”
Percy's dimples made an appearance as he smiled down at Baby, her small hands full of shampoo to lather up his hair.
He did as she asked and kissed the tip of her nose as he dipped his head down. She giggled and thread her fingers into his hair, gently scraping his scalp and massaging the roots of his hair.
If Percy was honest with himself, he had to admit that Baby took better care of his hair than he ever did. Sure he washed his hair regularly and applied conditioner, but she did much more.
Which is why he found himself sitting on the edge of the bathtub with a towel wrapped around his waist with Baby in her own towel in front of him as she carefully applied a moisturizing mousse to his hair and ran a detangling brush through his loose curls.
“Alright, do you want your hair to air-dry or should I do it for you?” She asked as she ran her hand through his hair one final time.
Percy looked at his reflection in the mirror and hummed, "Hm, you can do it.”
The pair moved into Baby's room hand in hand and Percy let himself sink into the lone one-seater couch in the corner of Baby's room.
“There's something I wanted to tell you...” Baby started as she held the blowdryer in her hand and slipped between Percy's legs.
He looked up at her and hummed, "What is it?”
The girl looked troubled for a moment and her warm brown eyes averted from his gaze.
“I was planning on visiting my mom today.”
Then she turned the blowdryer on.

Baby skirted around Percy's questions for the majority of the morning. Instead focusing on making breakfast for everyone and talking to Brielle about random things she did in the week.
Percy was conflicted. He wouldn't stop her from seeing her mother, but he was confused as to why exactly she would willingly go to see her.
It was when Colin voiced his own opinion after Baby said she'd be be seeing Jenna that Percy found out that she had seen her mother four months ago without his knowledge.
“Why didn't you tell me? I would've went with you.”
Baby shook her head, “I wanted to be alone.”
Biting his lip, Percy nodded in understanding and silently decided to keep his opinions on the matter to himself. She was allowed to do things on her own, he had to remember that.
When Baby left that afternoon, Percy finally let his shoulders drop in fatigue.
Colin had left as well but Brielle decided to stay behind to keep him company. The redhead made a cup of tea for him and gave him a pitying look.
"She doesn't tell any of us much these days. I know she's been going to see her mom a lot... And she always comes back looking really drained.”
A heavy sigh left Percy, “I don't want to be the controlling boyfriend or anything, I just want the best for her.”
Brielle nodded, "I know Percy. I know.”
