Chapter Three - Crush
Percy always noticed Baby, her cute face and shy mannerisms, her tiny figure and childlike personality, all of it was so attractive to Percy, and the most beautiful part of her was how absolutely oblivious she was to all the male attention she had.
But it was also the thing that irked Percy, how she never noticed how hard he tried to make her notice him for once.
Since he was fourteen, he had pined after Baby, making a player reputation along the way, trying to forget his infatuation with her.
But he swore that this would be the year he'd make Baby his.
His Baby, and his alone.

"You've been staring at my cousin for the past twenty minutes, can you just go over there and talk to her?" Isaac Birk, he was in fact Baby's cousin, the two of them weren't very close but when they did have some family time, they made the best of it, Isaac knew of Percy's longtime crush on Baby.
"No, I'll get her alone after the bell rings."
Isaac cringed "That didn't sound right, you'll get her alone? To do what?" Percy rolled his eyes,
"Not like that, I just want us to speak privately."
"Okay, I get that, private school attendees are pretty nosey." He let out a laugh,
"Exactly." Percy gave one last nod before continuing his staring fest while he snacked on his lunch.
♥️
When the bell rang, Baby packed her things leisurely, she had a free period right then.
Percy saw his chance and gave a quick greeting to Isaac before approaching Baby cautiously,
"Hey Louis." He played with the end of his loose tie,
Baby looked up with wide eyes "Hi." She gave a small wave,
While Baby saw Percy as a tall and gigantic young man who could break her neck in a second if she offended him.
Percy was just a shy tall boy who wanted nothing more than to have his crush notice his efforts and reciprocate his feelings.
"You have a free period?"
"Yes."
"You wanna go out to get ice cream?"
"Yes."
"Are you nervous?"
"Yes."
"Is it me?"
"Y-yes."
Percy took a deep breath, then he cracked his best smile,
"You don't have to be nervous Baby, I'm actually really friendly."
He stuck out a lazy hand,
Baby eyed his smile and his body language, deciding to be cautious but polite,
She slipped her hand into his and shook lightly
"Now let's get ice cream."
