Its finally that time of year. The smell of cold air that nips at the skin, leaving a whole other color on your face. It's Monday. The first day starting the winter break.

The sky is grey and its snowing.

" You know orange. Winter is such a beautiful weather but god damn! Does it get cold out here." I chuckle as I snuggle up to this fluff ball.

Orange has been the best companionship I've had in a while and I'd say I'm loving him with each day that passes by. He's there when I'm ugly crying into my pillow. When I want to do absolutely nothing but lay in bed and stare at my ceiling. He gives me comfort.

" Maybe we should go ou—" A couple of knocks at my door catch my attention and I stare at Orange. " Are you expecting any visitors?" Silence. " Cause I'm not."

Jungkook decided he needs some time to think. He made it pretty clear that it'll take time to choose what feels right to him within his heart. And I absolutely respected his decision.

But I've decided during the winter break I'm going to go stay with my grandparents. I've missed them and I'm sure they miss me too. And besides, getting out of the city and going to the small towns would help me clear my mind off things for a bit.

I need it.

I open the door and it's Nayeon and Lia holding grocery bags in their hands.

" Hey, Honey!" Nayeon chims, kissing my cheek walking in.

" Wow! H-Hey!" I say surprised, letting Lia in shutting the door behind me.

" Hey, you." Lia smiles, giving me a tight squeeze. "Where have you been hiding?"

" Well, for starters. You did forget I have classes to attended too. Right?" I chuckle.

" Well, it's not winter break for you, isn't it?" Nayeon raises her brow. I nod reminding both of them that my break just started.

" Well, we came with peace offerings. We have hot coco, marshmallows, coffee stuff, movies, and some bread." Lia smiles taking everything out of the bags.

" Awh. You guys shouldn't have."

" It's to break the news to you that we have rented a cabin out by the mountains for a week. There's snow already to go sledding, skiing, maybe see some wild life. You know?"

" Woah. Woah. Wait a minute. Cabin in the mountains? For a week?" Well, that just came out of no where.

" Yes! They also have a jacuzzi outside!! I've always seen them on tik tok! They look absolutely amazing." Nayeon cheeses.

" I'm sorry guys... I cant go."

" What?!" They simultaneously say.

" I'm going with my grandparents for the week. I'm sorry. Maybe if you guys would have gave me a heads up I would've."

Nayeon sighs. " See! I told you to tell her ahead of time Lia!"

" Well, yeahhh, but we both agreed we'd surprise her with the invite!" I can only giggle at the both of them.

" It was only going to be us three?" Now they're both quiet. Speaking with their eyes to each other.

" You got milk in the fridge? I'm gonna put some up on the stove for the hot coco." Lia twirls away towards my fridge grabbing the milk.

Nayeon chuckles nervously, tucking her hair away from her face.

" Is the president going or something?" I joke.

" It's us, our boyfriends and their friends." Oh...

" Oh... and Jungkook's going to be there, right?" Nayeon with pursed lips nods. " Ah, I see..."

" But we both agreed to make sure Jungkook wasn't anywhere in the picture that full week. We promised to keep you busy with variety of activities and do girl things. You know?" I nod.

" But don't worry. It's best if I don't go either way. I'd still feel awkward and my thoughts would have my mind for breakfast, dinner, and dessert." Nayeon chuckles, nodding.

" It's okay. I'm glad you're going to see your grandparents. I'm sure you miss them and the little cute town, huh?" I nod.

" I loved going there!" Lia chimes in. " Her grandparents make the best food ever! And their house is always so warm and welcoming! Not to mention the meadow view from the window!"

And for the rest of the day till the evening we just hung out. Caught up with each other's life saying new things. Mentioning some gossip here and there. I definitely mentioned the newest member to my little pack and they instantly both fell in love with him. I mean, who could blame them?

They gave me a ride to the bus station and we bid our little goodbyes for the week. They wanted me to greet my grandparents for them which I most certainly will do. I wish them the best on their camping trip and telling them to always be safe.

I'll see them soon.

I'm going to enjoy the winter break with my favorite people on earth. Everything else that has happened here is locked away in a box momentarily. I'm going to enjoy this bus ride for the next 5 hours and enjoy the different views with Orange.
