[ANOTHER-WORLD ARC] Chapter 24: The Ocean Base

A Little time passed, and Sonic was taken away by Gemerl . Meanwhile, in a completely different-looking place, a Black Hedgehog was walking around a moist-looking area.

''A Place that it's unfamiliar, how is this a game..'' He looked quite down, it seemed walked around that place for hours.

Then a group of robots appeared right next to him, they were targetting him with no stop. ''Hmm... I'll find that Emerald... No matter what!''

Shadow jumped and deflected most of the Badnik projectile attacks, and it began destroying them with powerful hand hook attacks.

After clearing them down, Shadow was surrounded by their junk. ''It's not fun... can't I even take a break..?''

He'd begun walking on again, but the more he goes, the less energetic it feels.  A More hour passed, and the hedgehog kept destroying robots, but he didn't find his will, it feels like he is about to fall off. ''Why... Doctor.. why... you..''

Then next to him, a crab-fish-looking robot dived out of the water, and it tried to grapple Shadow, but due to his fatigue, he was caught by the crab's arms.

''Agh.. this is it..'' Shadow looked pessimistic about his fate.

Then someone from the back threw an electric-like magnet bomb, then it was highly effective by this and it felt, after the mysterious person giggled, it looked like a voice of a woman.

Shadow fell to the ground, but he stood up. ''Huh.. that voice.''

''Shadow.. you should totally keep your pace, and take proper rest, dear.'' She gave a disappointed look at him.

''My... Bad. He really made to do this, he taunted me... Dr.Eggman.'' Shadow fisted both of his fists.

''There's no unlikely that you should act like that, come on...'' The female one shrugged.

''You're probably right, what I did was just act of a fool, I'd nearly wasted all of my energy..'' Shadow looked down on his mistake.

''Oh well. You can pull it off the next time, hey you better hear me out. ''

''Uh, did you find any clues about the Chaos Emerald..?'' Shadow gave a press.

''Not what might as you expect, just a strange sighting.'' 

''Even that, I'm really curious.'' He showed a more confident look.

''Look. There was like a blue thing falling from there, I tell you. It's just straight fell from a sky and fell right into the entrance base.''

''Hm, so it's located to that abandoned place we'd been there..? ''

''You gave a right guess, sweetie. Now... should we investigate there..?''

''No objections,  Let's go to that place. Rouge..! let's be on our way!''

Shadow and Rouge ran off, they were heading toward the Abandoned Base. Meanwhile, they were getting there, Sonic fell through there, and he was hurt.

''Darn it... I got so scared away by Emerl's Imposter..'' Sonic sighted.

He got up and saw himself surrounded by an abandoned place, it looked like nothing he remembered being in Route 99. ''This... must be a new place.''

Sonic mumbled. ''Now I'm trapped in a place that I haven't been there from before..!''

The hedgehog now moved, he kept walking around a moisty-looking base. ''Uh.. what even is going on there... I am in some  abandoned place.''
