Sonic The Hedgehog: Dark-Bright

[INTERMISSION ARC] Chapter 54: Awaken, South.

It seemed Sonic was putten up to a test, and he wasn't kidding, The Hedgehog was in a tight situation, a deep, and dark hole; the Denmins were surrounded by him, it wasn't much how many they were there, but there numbers were in fact large, that he got a bit feared; but he noticed, that if it's even possible to use that sword again, then he looked down. ''How.. is this possible. how can I win..?!"'

Aeon looked down at him. ''The only way to win this is to look to your soul, that's the thing.''

''But.. I don't how I can even achieve that..-GAH..!'' Then out of nowhere, he was pulled by random dentin, that one had an extended arm, that completely caught him off guard, it grappled Sonic, so he couldn't escape, the other Denimin approached closely and Sonic then began to scream and yell. ''WHAT... ARE YOU DOING..?! LET ME GO!"'

As they began to sniff around, they would reckon to his existence, and the second Denimin, twisted their arm and hooked into Sonic's chest, then it began to twirl, and it looked like Sonic's skin began to pale, and the Denmin with a long arm, let him go, and he began to pant a little more than that, and he fell down unconscious.

The Old Cat looked with a surprised look. ''That's... something. They didn't even want to eradicate his soul, they want him to be part of them..? Although... the process just has begun, can he awaken his spiritual abilities, once... and fight that off..?''

Then the hedgehog woke up, it seemed like he is in a completely different world, it looked like a similar world to the Dijon's Anima Zone. He started to wander a bit, it looked like he was on a hilltop hill, the whole place looked rather desolate, and it only had colors being; white and black, then he began speaking. ''Were... I am..?''

As he was standing, Sonic patted his chest. ''It seemed to look like I was attacked by them, not long ago. What i am doing here..?''

Then, a figure would be standing in front of Sonic, it looked menacing, it seemed like it couldn't be seen by the fog, so the hedgehog observed that thing, and it was revealed.  A humanoid blue Strider bug. it wears a cropped blue eighteenth-century-esque suit worn open with the collar popped, stitched rhombus on the shoulders, a white ruffle tie, and a white, tailed undershirt running down its torso. It also have claws; yellow coverings on its legs resembling pants and boots with blade-like heels was standing there on a sticky pole, its eyes glared at him, though not meant to be threatening by any means, then he looked even more aligned by this he asked. ''Who are you...?''

Then the figure moved the hand and pointed directly to his heart. ''A being, who was called upon you. I was the one who aided you into so many battles, even before you realized, that the power you call; Soulblade, I was there. I am your Speed.''

Then Sonic looked, and he gasped. ''Wait.. you're the exact reason, why I run fast, is this why...?''

''Partially yes. Though... I don't hold the true reason, But I only know, that I am your Soulblade, I am them.''

''That... Make sense. You're like that friend of Dijon's. You even have the same vibe as that blonde guy, but... it's still surprising that all this time, I was aided by that thing .''

The Strider figure, which it's proved to be a Soulner, jumped off and stared at the hedgehog again. ''Now it's not the time, to think on our recollections, you must fight. Your Denimin side is overtaking you, you must find my name, that's why I called upon you.''

''Wait... if I got taken by that, you'll disappear..?!'' Sonic shouted.

''Exactly.'' As by those words, the world began to be slowly erased, and the whole grass, started to slowly vanish, as Sonic started to feel the effects. ''Ugh... it's already happening, I must do something..!"'

Then the whole world changed perspective as well, Sonic fell into deep water, and he started to sink, as the Soulner looked down at him. ''You must find your name before it's too late...!Do not disappoint me.''

''Must find...'' Sonic mumbled to himself, as he started to sink deeper.

Back in the real world, it seemed like Sonic's soul has taken a bad toll. It looked like he finally got a whole holiness to him, his skin was full white, and it seemed like his fur began to being to a darker shape, and it seemed like a strange mask was started to grow in his head, it looked like a mask colored, right after the Denimins, and it seemed like he was screaming inside, as Aeon looked at him, a bit scared even.

Cut to the Sonic's inner world. He was now floating deep underwater, but.. he seemed like he saw a collection of many Swords, that quietly resembled his Soulblade, then he seemed to be stuck in that deep water, as he stopped sinking down, although Sonic can't swim, he just saw that the Swords keep being afloat, and keep rising to his side, all of they were tied with a chain, all of them seem to have different shapes, but mostly they were some black chain in their handle, he wondering. ''I think I'm closer to finding that name, I just need time.'' As he wanted though, it seemed like he started to bleed, it's probably the effects of the mask calling him.

Then the Soulner began speaking loudly that could be heard in echoes. ''The Swords represent many of your personalities, can... you know fully of yourself, what is your true Persona..? I think  you may know by now, Sonic The Hedgehog.''

''Any of the swords, can represent the real me. But... there's so many of them, therefore, i can't swim. I must think of another way, wait... I can.  That time when Aeon taught me a sensory ability, but... can I sense myself, maybe... I'll give it a try..!"' As he said, he closed down his eyes, as he scanned through each of every Soul Weapon that was around him, then something flickered into him, as some sort of energy, similar to him, then expecatcility, a Sword would be floating beside him, it was the same Soulblade, that he used since day one, the same sword who seemed to not possess a chain at the end of the sword's pommel, then he sighed, and let his arm, and with a single thought, the Sword came to his hand. ''The name is....''

Just as he was about to find an actual sword, it seemed like in the real world, Sonic was almost being taken part in a Deniminifcation, it seemed like Sonic fully, started to have some strange red marks around his body, then Aeon noticed, and he hadn't no other chance, but to use this. 

''SEIKIDO BINDING:  THE CHAIN RIPPLE..!'' The chains were summoned by his hand, and the chains traveled and locked onto Sonic, it seemed it started to slow down that transformation, but it seemed like Sonic were about to break the chain, and it got him a bit unpleased. ''It can't be...''

''Second, coming..!'' Then Aeon summoned that earth-shocking Soulblade again, and swiped that sword down, to make him trapped beneath the rocks, that it calmed him down a little, but it wasn't enough, he broke it, as the mask only covered half of his face, then as he was about to do a jump, it was interrupted by an explosion, caused by himself, and it was bright enough to cover Aeon off. ''AAAGH..!"'

That Flash was of course, yellow; but now changed to a blue color, then with a ripple of light, the figure traveled up-right to the surface, then with a magnificent re-summon to his Soulblade, the Denimins were obligated way right before he traveled with that light, then it seemed like that mask was alone to root as a dust, beneath the ground, but then Sonic who finally, truly achieved the actual Soulfication transformation, stood there menacingly, with a new change of attire. It seemed like Sonic seem to possess, a torn-off green shirt, with ripped sleeves, but it seemed like that shirt alone had some pockets in it, and even Sonic's red shoes changed. It now looked bulkier, though it had the same decor design as the previous one, it looked less angular, and even losing that iconic yellow bucket, even the chains that Aeon used on him, were still had some of them still holding onto his body,  but now him standing there, he finally finished the sentence. ''SOUTH RAIDER.'' While remembering all of the words he heard, all of those moments ago, 

''wake up, wake, up, wake up... You believed in yourself, always... you will find a way to solve any problem, in any situation! So get up and fight... the powers you've received mean a lot to you...''
