[ANOTHER-WORLD ARC] Chapter 35: Approach

The Eggman's opposing people gathered, it seemed they were really on a talk, Shadow told them that they needed to use their total capacity to the fullest. ''It's best for you to go all out, no holding back.''

Sonic then responded as he grinned. ''Of course..! I think we can do everything with the new powers we got.''

He looked at Sonic. ''About the new function you started to use often, The Soulblade yes..?''

''Yeah, that thing. Im sure it will be a gateway for us to win.'' Blue blur said, as he was fully confident that a sword like that, could give him more chances of winning.

''About it, I just discovered that the more power you see, the more I see you being in a transparent-like state, It seemed like any of you two could vanish right now.'' He said as he had a bit concerned about the Soul Weapon users.

Dijon moved his hand. ''But how come I feel alright...? I'm the first ever person that got hold of that power, and yet.. from the entire time, everything feels fine..''

Tails scratched his muzzle. ''Dijon is right, I can feel my body is weird on a float, I'm not sure what's going to happen, but... maybe....''

Shadow then interrupted Tails's sentence in the end. ''To stop using that power.''

Rouge submitted the Shadow's statement. ''The power of it sounds marvelous but... what Shadow says it is an actual truth, we are worried that you guys can vanish.

Amy looked down. ''Then... this is the only way, we don't want to get lost again, so as the people that got erased along with many of the dimensions.''

Sonic said. ''Why won't we stop using this power for a while, and do it like in the old times...! We have Shadow on our side, and his Chaos Technique is totally an incredible thing to use..!''

Shadow crossed his arms. ''Don't be sure of that Sonic, we won't know what will happen in the future.''

Fox then had a realization. ''So it's decided then, We can talk more about how we will deal with Dr.Eggman.''

So, they began a discussion, a half hour passed, they were ready with their plan.

''Okay guys, our plan will not fall.'' Sonic gave a thumbs up.

''Chaos Angel sure sounds like a dangerous place to go, but how do we get there...'' Tails said as he was a bit feared of that name alone.

''You're right Tails, what could lie in that place.'' Knuckles said it as he was more likely to be curious about that dimension's existence.

Dahlia then ran inside and shouted to everyone. ''The Portal..!''

''A Portal...? Wait... Really..?!''  Sonic seemed shocked, he'd run outside and saw a cosmic-looking portal, it didn't look like anything that he saw so far.

Shadow ran outside, he'd couldn't believe his eyes. ''It's... nothing that we've seen so far, what is this..?''

''I think he is calling us.'' Blue one crossed his arms, as he was aware that this was the call from Eggman.

Knuckles seemed to be outside too, he looked at it with grumpiness on his face. ''I can't believe how much he can do it with the power of a Master Emerald.''

The whole team gathered yet again, as they were questioning if they should really go through the portal, till they finally decided to just go, but Amy had one question left.

''I'm sure if we go, but I think we should leave one person out of the group..?''

''And.. what could it be...?'' Dijon said.

''I feel if we should leave Cream by Dahlia's side. She isn't a fighter or a hero, she just wants to be happy with us, and her mom of course. And I had a talk with her, it seemed she is okay being without us, so...?''

''Hm, seems good to me..! Not everyone is a super giant ready to take on everything, right..?'' Sonic made a clear statement, and it was decided.

''I hope that everyone will be safe and alive..!'' Cream said cheerily, as they would wave their hands to hear and hopped to the portal, and it wasn't unsure where they will go next. So, they reached the final destination, which was where it has the whereabouts of Dr.Robotnik, it was their last stop-by, and they were all shocked by this scene. Everything was destroyed, the cities, towns, and even the oceans were dried out. But a long-way sanctuary was ahead.

''Dear... What happened there..?'' Shadow couldn't believe his words, as that scenery was too eerie.

''That's what Master Emerald has done to that place..?! I can't believe it..! Never... NEVER!'' Knuckles raised his voice, as he was even more unpleased to the doctor's doing.

Amy tried to calm down Knuckles a bit. ''We aren't fully sure of that, but I think.. he probably did it anyway.''

It seemed Sonic was a bit calmer than usual. ''It's not like we can sit there and do nothing, this is our last chance, let's do the thing we always do, go after him, Dr.Eggman.''

''Before that... We need to make a separate group, I'd feel if we can look for him, it'd be best if we would be not in the whole group, as he is already probably set tricks on us.''

''Okay...! So, what's the plan going to be.'' Tails said as he was excited to do the team-making.

So, they decided, and so it was the result.

Shadow made it clear. ''Me, Sonic, and Knuckles will be lead. While... Amy, Rouge, Tails, and Dijon will be on the other side.''

They hadn't no objections, it was settled then. While also, Rouge gave a bunch of earpieces to each of them for communication purposes. 

''I'd hope that you guys will not do some reckless stuff, and won't try to be gone,'' said it as she had drowsiness on her.

''We won't, Amy. It's gonna be a simple and clean cruise..!" Sonic was truly confident on this matter.

The groups left on their way, now cut to Sonic's team. They speeded up and looked for Eggman, they began chopping down the Badniks each by one, and it was no big trouble for them, till they discovered a secret door, it was the entrance of some kind.

Sonic whistled. ''It was barely trouble, but now this is it. Do we think we may find the person where we looking for..?''

''That Door... I haven't seen not in my life, but yet... it feels familiar somehow...'' Knuckles scratched his head, as he had a totally strange reaction.

''If it is, then we are glad. We will stop that Madman doing, once and for all.'' 

''So, that's how you play Shadow... So we do it too!'' Blue hedgehog speeded up and boosted right to the door, but then he was kicked right into his ribs, Sonic was injured, then a familiar figure would come off. 

Knuckles as he was angered he clinched his fists. ''SHOW YOURSELF!"'

The figure was revealed from the shadows. ''It's been a long time, do any of you two miss me..?''

''IT'S YOU!"' Shadow recognized that figure, it was Lark.

''I was quiet to find out, that a Watcher Deminin can be defeated by a bunch of amateurs... even if I'm no less with you, hedgehogs!" Then Lark pointed to them, as he was still disappointed in himself, by that defeat.

Then it cut to Dijon's side, it seemed they were less rushing but actually looking for clever spots, it was Tails' idea then the fox looked around and saw an area. ''Wow, this is nothing like we've seen so far.''

Then onto the area were greeted by a Giziod figure, it was Gemerl. ''So, that's where the fun begins.'' 

it seemed those two foes will try to stop them, it's uncertain how it will go...
