[ANOTHER-WORLD ARC] Chapter 36: Double Trouble

The trio stared at Lark, it wasn't sure what they would plan next, and then he spooked up.

''Surrounded by two hedgehogs, and one echidna...  never could this be that funny. Now... It won't be unwise if for you three to right charge on me..?''

Shadow looked puzzled. ''Why so..? you have no allies.''

''I'm not exactly referring to that, it's all about this room.''

''Room..?'' Knuckles seemed curious.

''It's cause of the way it is, The Whole place is an actual area.''

Sonic looked at it, it was really a fighting area. ''Woah... that's true.''

''I recognized the whole area by myself, as it reminded me of those areas that exist, only two people can enter the ring.''

Black hedgehog sighed. ''So, only one of us can come here and fight you..? we'll see.''

Sonic grinned. ''I'm sure he'll be defeated as Dijon did to him before..!''

Shadow stepped his foot in. ''I'm going.''

Both of them were right about shadow, and Sonic said. ''No kidding, you're the strongest from our group Shadow so he won't be a challenge to you, right..?''

As he entered the area, he looked at Sonic. ''As if, even if I don't have a Soulblade... I'll still beat him with my Chaos energy!''

Lark cracked. ''You talk though little black one, but... I have gotten a little stronger since the last time I wrecked over that town.''

''Hm, no problem... Will see  if you can handle the power of, CHAOS CONTROL!"' Shadow wrapped and did a drop kick to the Lark, he'd be sent far into the air, then he'd wrapped yet again and kicked him around with covert kicks and sending him right to the floor.

''Not... Bad..'' Lark stood up, it felt like the attacks he'd received, was just small hit from that black hedgehog, then he'd dashed at such a high speed that he'd even become invisible, then he'd done a right kick to his head, and Shadow looked a bit flinched, but he'd resisted. ''You call..?''

Sonic looked amused by this. ''Impressive..! This was the same kick technique that got me send out of consciousness!"'

''Hm, see if you can dodge this... Chaos Control's!'' Shadow then harnessed more of the chaos energy, and he used a more abused variant of Chaos Control, he'd begun wrecking Lark across the area, which made one of Lark's armor be just destroyed, and he'd looked with a priceless face.

''What's wrong..? it seems my power was too much for you.'' Shadow was disappointed by Lark's feat, as he was getting more deadly hits than he'd done then Lark drew out his sword.

''So, that's the weapon... huh..'' Shadow seemed to be more cautious now, then Lark charged him and they began having a match, Shadow kept dodging his sword attacks, but then Lark did a clever trick, and did an opening cut to one of Shadow's knees. After that, He'd pulled off a mini-cannon out of his right wrist and fired at him, and Shadow flew across the screen. ''GAAAH!''

''Not such a joke, ain't..?'' Lark then pulled his sword and did a pose, then he began slicing Shadow off and on, he'd was also stunned by one of his slashes.''

Then Shadow parried his sword by using his rocket shoes, then he'd wrapped in a quick speed and did a powerful fist enough to send him away from the area, then Shadow began to glew more. ''CHAOS..''

''Hmm... Chaos.. and Chaos.. that's so uni-code for you.'' Then he guarded with his sword.

''SPEAR!'' Shadow then shot a big projectile towards Lark, then he parried the Sword and was sent way back up,  but it wasn't late for Shadow as he wrapped yet again and did an upper-cut into his jaw, Lark was then sent to the sky in right position that Chaos Spear's projectile was, then he'd exploded as he screeched in pain.'' GAAAAAAAAAAH!''
