[ANOTHER-WORLD ARC] Chapter 31: Cyber Tracks

Amy, Knuckles, and Dijon decided for them to take a quick rest, while a different group, fell from a gateway they had been caught in, they were now in a strange area. It looked like a digital database, Sonic was amazed by the scenery, it was nothing to see.

''I've never seen anything like this! It feels like I would see in my dreams.'' Sonic said as this place looked new to him.

Shadow walked in, he seemed to be even more interested in the looks. ''Hm, a never seen dimension, though... I must admit it... It looks futuristic.''

Rouge then looked in the long cybernetic hallway. ''It does. Though... I never expected a place to turn out like this, what is that place anyway?''

He took more steps forward. ''We aren't sure yet, but.. from my best guess, it's a place that is mostly for holding important data, but... this is the entire dimension.''

''Man.. to believe that an entire data holds in this entire dimension, is spectacular.. it has never been like this!''

''That's right, Sonic. But then.. a Chaos Emerald must keep there, though it most likely is somewhere..'' said Shadow.

Then Rouge would give him a compliment. ''That's the best of you, darling Shadow! With you boys, we will that emerald, easy.''

He crossed his arms. ''I know that you can be useful Rouge, but do not refer to as darling anymore, it just makes me feel less focused.''

''Classic Shadow.'' Sonic snarked.

So, they wandered further to the digital-based dimension, it passed like an hour, and they kept walking.

''This is going to be forever...'' Rouge complained.

Then suddenly he stopped. ''Sonic, can you lend me an emerald for a bit..?''

''Yeah, sure...'' Sonic gave his chaos emerald to Shadow.

He looked at the emerald, and it made that Chaos Emerald glow for a minute, then it visioned him a location for the Seventh Emerald, he made a smile, and then gave his words.

''We aren't that far away from the Chaos emerald, but... there would still be an effort to even get one.''

Sonic then jumped. ''Alright! this is going to be our way to get one! So, where is it exactly..?''

He would point to a big techno-like tower, that was energized by the electric energy, it was well guarded too, and had many Badniks guarding it, and the blue hedgehog looked with an awkward look on his face. ''It will be hard, really..''

Rouge has seen it too, so she stated. ''So, this must be the center of this dimension, though... it would be really hard getting there.''

Shadow rolled his eyes. ''I'm pretty sure we need to find a plan to get there, no matter what.''

''Uh.. a plan... alright, let's think for a one!'' Sonic agreed.

For while, they discussed their plan, it was decided that both Sonic and Shadow will take their own action, on infiltrating the tower, while Rouge will be a supporter, mainly being a navigator for them, so they were given to use an earpiece, it will be helpful to tool for her to communicate with the hedgehogs.

it seems that Shadow will take the lead, while Sonic going to be from behind him, but after that, Sonic asked him a question.

''So.. say.. about that chaos emerald, will it be with you?''

''That Emeralds will be in my possession for while, cause... we need our team feels balanced enough, besides... unlike the emeralds, you can use that magical blade of yours, what is it called again?''
