[INTERMISSION ARC] Chapter 57: Stand to Better

It's yet another day, although.. it hasn't been much happening since then, so Dijon hadn't anything to do, chatted around a bit with Braso, and continued on his path, he went back to that building, where he'll have to spend more than enough before he entered the building, he would glare at the watch. ''Although.. it has changed, it still feels somewhat empty...'' he said to his head but didn't much think more, so he headed, and clicked on the watch, him transforming into that newly rebranded outfit of his, he went inside, and confronted Aeon. ''Yo, I'm back.''

''Ah, I think we could begin, yet again.'' As he saw his presence, they went back downstairs and began their practice. Their swords clashed, with each blow, it looked like Aeon had a better hand, but Dijon hesitated to not take a slack, and try his best. And as the minutes passed, with each strike they clashed, Aeon explained much the basics of what the Soulblades are capable of, then he stood there. ''There's.. an interesting trick, I could teach you.''

''A new... trick... I'm welcome of it.'' As he heard those words, he felt much more curious about that subject.

''Now watch me, Dijon.'' He began to cast his speed and would dash in the blink of an eye, ready to hit him. ''Now.. strike me, Dijon..!''

As he nodded, he would swing his sword upward, then the cut was just passed by that trick and would be from his behind. ''And that was the demonstration.''

''I'm interested... what it does..?'' That got him, even more interested, such a technique that allows the user to swiftly dodge the moves, he'll sure need to know about that.''

''That's called, Hyper Flash. Although.. the balancers call it... Shippatsu. A Technique, where your body becomes, light as a feather. With this... it allows them to move at a faster speed too, get it..?''

''I see, so.. that's where are we going to deal with me, you think I am going to learn that..?'' Dijon questioned.

''Mhm... ain't I'll be teaching more of a stuff like that, you'll just have to see.'' As he said, they went back on their learning curve again, and so it continued for more than 3 hours. As they would go on, then Knuckles went downstairs and gave his talk. ''Hey guys..! Sonic got up..!''

As they could be heard, they would look on in the echidna's direction, then he would see Sonic walking from downstairs, with a confident look on his face. ''Yo.''

When he saw him, Dijon approached him and offered him a handshake. ''It's nice seeing you again, Sonic.''  He would return that handshake with his hand. ''It looks like you're a bit different looking today, Dijon. I'm really excited..! You have your powers back, it does question me, on.. how it was possible..?''

Dijon would be scratching his head a bit. ''Oh, that... it's hard to explain...''

Aeon would tap his foot. '' I think you two, can probably talk a bit later, we must arrange the talk on you two, hedgehogs. It looks like your power and their potency is absurd, so I can't take my energy, to be handling.'' 

''What about me..? you'll think I would stand there, and wait..?'' Sonic shrugged.

''That's why I will provide you, with a new mentor.'' He grinned.

''Mentor..?!'' Sonic would make a pretty poker face, by that reaction.

''As you got up, I think I'll call him, so he can take proper assistance.'' as he smiled, he ran comically, upstairs, as he was there, finding his cellphone.

As the blue hedgehog saw, he would give a pretty deep sigh and sit on a rock. ''Whatever... it's not like I want to get crushed, by any of his cheap attacks.''

Dijon would've crossed his arms. ''You're right... although... I do seem to follow around his move set, quite a bit. We are not in his league.''

''Yeah, a pain in the butt. So, how did you get your powers, back..? I mean.. Satsugai is not here, and.. the odd gauntlet you're always carrying, how is still there..?''
