[INTERMISSION ARC] Chapter 55: Stylized Practice

Sonic. Who finally reconstructed his power, into a more sustained being, now is standing there, while his Sword was held by his, he stood there with a smile on his face, while Aeon looked at him, surprised. Yet amused. He finally conquered the pain, and now he is looking more into his journey than he clapped. ''I'm quite surprised. You did manage to become a real Soulficated user.''

''Guess this is it then. I can finally match against those Uni-Balancer, with no sweat..!"' He chuckled after, as he was fully confident in the current state of his power.

Aeon nodded, as if it was no, as a disagreement of him. ''Don't be sure of yourself, it takes a longer practice to even compete with them, I feel though, on your current power, you can probably face any of the low-ranked ones, but you ain't going to deal with the two, you fought them days ago.

''Ehh..?!'' He felt a little overwhelmed by his statement. ''But... is this really my limit..?!''

''Not quite, you need to improve. That's why, for the rest of this week, you'll be spending a lot of time, training with me, so I can fully set you on a free journey, now.. fight me...!''

Then Sonic pointed Sword on Aeon. ''Okay...! I ain't going to be a wimp this time..!''

Hedgehog then accelerated, and speeded up, with his speed alone, he tried to take him down with a opening cut, that blade of his, went straight on Aeon, but it was cut short, by the Earth-Shaker's Soulblade, each blade clashed, but it looked like the Sonic's opposing opponent, were tried to push him away, as the strength, was more powerful, as he noticed. He took a dash away from behind and used this to take a quick slash. However... His attack failed yet again, as Aeon's energy glowed in the trail of blue, it easily overpowered Sonic's speed, and send him back to a mountain, and it got him knocked off, but for some brief seconds, he stood up, have no idea on what just happened. ''What...''

In just an instant, the Old Man Cat, was right in front of him, with a funny face on him. ''What's wrong, it seems I easily overpowered your most focused attribute so far.''

''That's impossible... I have a better figure than you, and yet... my speed is barebone, how is this achievable..?!'' He looked with pure astonishment, he couldn't even calculate, enough how fast he moved, but instead, he tried to fight back, Sonic then began dashing around on a cliff that they were in, he then curled into a ball, and tried to hit on Aeon, but it was still unfortunate, as he swung the sword again, to create an eruption, where the entirety of the mountain was just cut in half, that made Sonic fell over, but with enough of skill, he traversed through falling rocks, with ease, he then floated in mid-air, as his energy was glowing in pure wind energy, then he shouted. ''WIND BLADE!"' a big storm-shockwave, that turned into a projectile-based wave, it was directly targetted on Aeon, and the big wave headed straight on him, as the old man looked at it, he grinned. His sword would glow in a pure-red-like glow, and with a single swing,  the attack was repelled, and so did Sonic merely dodged, almost hit by his own attack, and he landed on the ground, with a grasp of disappointment. ''What the... Nothing is hitting him..?!''

''POWER.''  Aeon was right in front of him, and he slammed down his sword to the ground and made an earth-shaking wave-beam, it cut through the literal ground itself, and that was enough to create a long crater, that was seen through the entire area, he looked terrified.

But he still believed in himself, so he kept to his bravery, and began to take hits on him, yet again. He kept taking each and each try, to give at least one blow, but it was merely impossible, he was just sent down flying, but then Sonic had enough but to run across that area, for 4 times, around it, then he began glowing in a brighter trail of blue wind colour, he waved to Aeon, and with a fully-wind charged, slash he struck on Aeon, but even so, he still had one trick left, his trail now began to glow in yellow, and easily grabbed to a Sonic's left arm, and that was his counter. He would easily toss him around and got him to the point of him being a power exhausted. ''Impossible..''

Aeon looked silently at the hedgehog, he kept waiting for what was next for his attack going to be, but his expectations were low, as he noticed how much Sonic began to feel tired of that power of his.

then Sonic began to point his sword upward, and impending his energy exploded, and thus his spiritual energy began to explode, his energy reached a new height, but Aeon was surprised, but he has gotten even more serious, as by that event. ''I know, you try to beat me, but this is well beyond...! Your energy may have taken on a big toll already..!''

''Is that so..?!"' with much power he generated, his eyes shivered from green to blue, and Sonic began to point his sword in a straight direction, that much power even manage to completely decompress the unique energy that the chains he had way back in his pre-awakening state. ''I'll send this with this cut. SLASH STORM!"' Then, a bigger slash was shooting directly at Aeon, then it was revealed to be a stronger variant than the previous uses of Slash Storm, but this one felt different. It generated a much strength, that it began to consume anything that it's windy, and then it went straight on Aeon, with a quick reaction he'd dodge it, but then the slash followed and finally, he was hit by him, and was a small-cutted by the storm, the attack ended, with him being shocked by that power, then he looked to Sonic, it seems he fell down due the exhaustion as his Soulblade Desummoned as well.

''That Kid... he is always there to just impress me, with enough practice, he can be a potential threat to the Uni-Balancers, although... it's only my speculation, oh well... Sleep well, Hedgehog.''
