"After a long day, Dijon finally regained his powers, but the effort had taken a toll on him, and he succumbed to exhaustion. Though he wasn't dead, he clearly needed some proper rest. Aeon carefully carried him and placed him in a comfortable spot to recuperate. Much had transpired since then, and now it was another morning. Sonic emerged from his bedroom and caught sight of Tails near his house. Intrigued, he approached him and asked, 'Hey, Tails... is something the matter?''

Tails sighed and responded,' 'There's something I want to discuss, Sonic. Can I accompany you today? I feel like there's nothing for me to do at the moment.''

Sonic looked at him curiously and inquired, ''What about the project you showed me a few weeks ago?''

As they began to walk, Tails looked down and confessed, ''I just... can't seem to find the courage anymore. Sure, I have acquired new powers, but what's the point? Ever since I was captured by the Denimins, I've been consumed by fear. The only time I feel confident is when I'm with you guys.''

Sonic reassured him with a smile, saying, ''You don't have to worry about that right now. Sure, life can throw challenges our way, but let's take a break from your projects. It's okay if you need to focus on regaining your confidence.''

Tails nodded gratefully and said, ''Thanks, Sonic. I'm grateful to have someone who supports me as you do. So, where are you headed?''

Sonic hesitated for a moment before responding, ''Well, there's something Aeon wants from me. That's where I'm going.''

''Ah, right. He mentioned something about making you stronger?'' Tails scratched his head, trying to recall the conversation.

''Training, you mean?' Sonic asked. 'I guess I'll find out once I see him.''

''Well, I'll see you soon, Sonic. Take care.' 'Tails waved as they parted ways, and Sonic cheerfully bid him farewell. He then made his way back to the building where Aeon resided, standing before the door.

Within moments, the echidna opened the door and greeted Sonic, saying, ''I'm glad you're here. We don't have any time to waste. You know what needs to be done.''

Sonic stepped into the room, which appeared unchanged. However, he sensed a different energy permeating the space. 'Is someone new here?' he inquired. ''The place feels more expansive.''

Knuckles nodded and replied, 'Yes, Dijon completed his training yesterday, but he exerted himself too much. He's resting now until we notify him.'

''So, he's already regained his powers. Impressive, Sonic remarked, admiring Dijon's accomplishment. Aeon added, 'That's something that impresses you as well, Sonic. By the way, can you sense people's soul energy even when they're asleep? It seems the power of a Soul Weapon runs in your blood.''

Sonic confirmed, ''Yeah, I can. But is there a reason for it? Why do I need to see you again? Give me a purpose.''

Aeon replied, ''I've come to ask you one thing, hedgehog. Do you accept my offer to train you or not? It's a choice you must make now. Will you accept?''

Extending his hand, Aeon continued, ''The battles we have faced and lost to others have shown us that stronger adversaries may emerge. So, I accept your offer wholeheartedly.' 'Sonic returned the gesture with a firm handshake, and they greeted each other.

''Excellent. Now, follow me downstairs, and we will begin our training.'' Aeon motioned for Sonic to proceed.

''No time to waste. I'll stick with him,'' Sonic declared with a determined grin.

''Keep in mind that the training will last for one week. I'm not sure how you'll manage it. Dijon barely endured a full day. But I can't blame him. I haven't experienced the underground myself,'' Knuckles remarked, crossing his arms.

''Well, I'll take on anything that comes my way. See you around, Knuckles.' Sonic waved and descended the stairs. The scene that greeted him was reminiscent of Dijon's experience, and yet Sonic felt a sense of familiarity. It reminded him of Green Hill Zone. 'Is this... Green Hill?'' he questioned.

Aeon clarified, ''It's merely a replica of that place. I have been to South Island and studied it extensively to create this accurate replica. So, are you prepared to begin?''

Sonic responded confidently, ''Absolutely! I won't give up easily. I've never backed down from any training challenge thrown at me!''

And so, the training commenced. While Dijon peacefully rested, Sonic embarked on his own journey. The outcome of the training remains uncertain, but one thing is for sure—Sonic's determination will be put to the test.
