[PILOT ARC] Chapter 7: Odd Night!

It was pretty much a sunset. Both Amy and Tails did go in their ways, while Dijon and Sonic were on the talk, Sonic began to tell what strange stuff he'd see in that hospital.

it was a quite rare moment for Sonic to speak up like this, but he did so.

''Hey... Dijon.. before you go, I could ask you a question...?'' he said with a serious look on his face.

''What is it? I'm up to everything.'' Dijon replied, but he has seen that Sonic was already up to serious talk.

''I feel that this town is being run by strange beings, well... they don't look like robots, but more independent creatures and they were tough for me even to take it down!''

''Wait..? really?! Oh... I've seen it... the strange electricity outrage event was probably connected to this don't you think?'''

''Hey! you're right... Dijon! maybe we could talk out like this tomorrow since tomorrow is Sunday, cool right?''

''Sounds cool to me. I'm already free this weekend, so I will be up to anything.'' As Dijon said this, they shake hands as a goodbye, looks like both teenagers are up to investigate why Deminins exactly want from this town.

Satsugai spoke to Dijon, ''Looks like he can see spirits, what a special person.. isn't?''

''Yeah, even defeated one... that means...''

''Not sure if this person you've talked, to can partake of a job for making these nasty spirits retreat your hometown, but.. take consideration that many strong foes will await you.''

''Hmmm.. in that case, things will get far more interesting in the future.''

Later then Dijon went home, looks like everyone is now asleep, or isn't it?

a two-tailed fox was working hard, it felt like that project was important to him. Tails wondered if that's fine to work for that much lately. ''Phew.. working all like this.. with no support, kinda makes me like this lonely, oh... I'm just kidding! being an inventor like this will just make my brain even far more helpful to aid my friends!''

''Set, and done...'' the 3D texture of Tornado 3 is finally done! can't wait for Sonic to see this! I hope he will be so glad to see my achievements!'' Tails were surely proud of himself, looks like Tornado 3 gonna be a huge improvement from the previous Tornado.

As he took a yawn, he silently walked and took the keys. But then he heard a strange footstep sound.

''Huh..? pretty sure my imagination! my brain really feels so clunky after working like that..''

As he took more steps, a Dark figure approached him, he had that recognizable blue color but was dressed in black robes.

''Aaaaah!!'' As Tails saw it, he panicked, and the auto-system security triggered, and many hazards pointed at that unknown figure.''

That figure didn't say a word, as his main objective was to do something with that poor fox.

''Who are you?! did you come here to take all my inventions?!'' Tails finally opened his brave words, but his legs were still shaking.

''No.'' Black-robed figure replied.

As it spoke, the system security launched rockets and they were on the aim.

''Rockets... GO!''

The figure easily passed through it, as if it was just a joke for him.

Tails were shocked to see how it was easy for that figure to just be untouched by fast-like rockets.

''Right...right... you're fast... you can do anything with me...''

''Good.'' He stepped closer to Tails, as he was ready to grab Tails by the hand.

''And there was the part, where I tricked you!"' Tails pulled out his iconic Arm cannon and shot an electric blast at it.''

It was a huge smoke, in fact, even Tails took a cough, he couldn't see if that figure was finished or not.

The smoke was more clear, The figure's robes were just damaged but his body wasn't.

''That's enough for you, Kid.'' He stepped like a flash in dark, he easily grab Tails and took him outta it, to somewhere...''

The morning was there, looks like Sonic woke up first. As soon he wore his shoes and took a snack, he ran off to Tails' house, and he banged the door. ''Sup Tails! you there..?! Hey!'' He then banged the door multiple times, then he realized that he could've been in his laboratory. ''Sheesh... he must be in the lab, I always often find him sleeping on his work table, man.. he sometimes needs to take a break.''

Sonic ran off to his lab, and to a surprise the door was open!

''Huh.. that's strange...''

Sonic walked around his lab, noticing the security was still active, and the table was messed up.

''What just happened...'' Sonic was confused, he couldn't find Tails, but just to see why's the security system on.

''Maybe, I should call Amy and Dijon, maybe they could know where did Tails go.''

Sonic began making calls to them, he told them to go to the meeting place, being Tails'sLab.

He waited, till both Dijon and Amy arrived.

''Sonic! what was the problem?! did Tails was gone missing..?'' Amy spoke it while approaching closer to Sonic.

''Also, sup Dijon... you may somewhat help us to find our friend, but hey what's the last time you've seen him? Amy? Dijon?''

''Well, surely my last time when I've met him near his working place, he told me that he is making a project that would make Sonic look surprised!"' Amy said.

''I see... surely he was doing his things at the laboratory. And what about you, Dijon?''

''Last time I was... only when he walked out with Amy.''

''I see... about that... I had a feeling that Tails was attacked by someone, thus security activation..'' Sonic sat there, looking at the still-activated securities.

''Wait... I somehow got it.. missing people, being attacked at all times, and they've been missing... Sonic! I have an actual plan, please listen to me.'' Dijon spoke it, as he already noticed that Tails has been kidnapped by a Deminin.

''Oh, sure...'' Sonic was interested to see what Dijon's gonna talk about.

''You see... recently this town sky-rocketed by missing people count, so I had to guess that Tails got taken away, by someone.. or a group.''

''A group?! that's... sounds too mysterious.'' Amy was curious about the whole situation even more.

''So, about the plan of finding our friend. We need to split up and find the best information possible, so maybe we can find our fox friend!''

Sonic clapped, ''Yo, that sounds way too cool for a plan..! Alright...everyone let's do it what you say, Dijon. It's Split up time!"'

Everyone took their parts, as they would aim to find clues.
