[PILOT ARC] Chapter 17: First Showndown Part 1

So, it was Morning. Sonic Explained to Amy what happened that night, she'd found the reason why Dijon was outraged by Lark. Cream was finally safe with Vanilla, though she was saddened by Agro's fate.  While at Lark's side, it seemed he had plotted on causing a threat to all.

Lark was finally building a gigantic machine, it was a little bit hidden in the dark, so its true size wasn't shown fully. Liqo came up to him with these words.

''Lark sir, have you finished your project.. it seemed it's on the final stage, and got to think about it.. you worked on 100 years.''

He'd looked at Liqo with menacingly looking eyes.  ''Yes.. all is left, the final ingredient.''

''Final... ingredient, sure...! what's the name of it..?'' 

''You.'' he'd kept staring at him with his red glowing eyes.

''M-me..?! what is this some kinda joke..?'' Liqo seemed to be scared of Lark, he couldn't think what was going to happen next.

Lark stopped talking, as he didn't hesitate but took out his Black Metallic sword, and tried to destroy him in the dust. Liqo started to get away from him, but... he wasn't lucky Deminin.

Lark would hold pieces of the specks of dust, from the remains of Liqo. ''Finally.. all my subordinates are gone, all is left.. is to awaken my child.. the WATCHER!''

He'd started to mix around all of the dust from the fallen Deminins, and he'd used all of them to awaken the beast.

As he started to awaken, it was cut to Dijon. He actually skipped his classes that day, he still couldn't get off his thoughts from yesterday. ''Satsugai, Sonic is aware of this town's fate.. now... I don't need these powers anymore, it always felt like I wasn't fit to have a fighting spirit like him.''

Satusgai looked grumpy at him. ''Seriously... I get it... destroying them can act as killing, but.. listen.. what if Sonic loses..? my powers can be useful, to aid him. right..?''

Sonic backed off to the other side. ''You just don't get it Satsugai, I'm a hedgehog that lived in peaceful harmony, I've never intended to be a hero or a spirit-wielding guy whatsoever, even the powers hadn't chosen me, the only reason I have your powers.. it was out of  your boredom.''

Satsugai was a bit angered but understood Dijon. ''Oh, that's how we talk eh? fine.. do it what you want... I'll act as I don't exist!"' Satsugai dissapeared.

Dijon looked at the view from the whole town and took a deep breath. ''Not sure who is right anymore...''

It was afternoon, and Sonic and his friends were a bit worried about Dijon's disappearance, they didn't know where he went on.

Amy took her head town. ''That night surely affected Dijon alone... it seemed like he has similar traits to Cream... he doesn't like to fight.''

Sonic took a glare at the gate of the school. ''He does hate it, but from what I've seen.. he only uses it to protect everyone.. so after all.. he chooses his power as meant to make this town be in full peace.''

He also took a step forward. ''You guys wait there... I must find him, and talk to it... and show that we need him, otherwise the town would be in complete ruins!"'

Tails showed up his thumbs up to Sonic, and Amy just smiled. He ran off the main town, looking for Dijon.

Sonic ran around the city, but couldn't find Dijon.. but until a familiar figure stopped him, it was Shadow again, and he immediately started to speak with him. ''Sonic.. wait.''

Sonic eagerly looked upon Shadow. ''What do you want Shadow... I don't think it's time for a chat.''

Shadow looked closer to him. ''I know... but we need a short talk, we found.. some shreds of evidence.. and..''
