[ANOTHER WORLD-ARC] Chapter 29: Second.

Dijon and his group managed to get the three emeralds, however. And Once again, they are now trapped in that same rainbow-looking zone, it seemed like this is happening yet again. A Different scene is cut, It was a Snowy area, it was cold, and a robed figure would've been fighting an ice-giant, It was sure another Badnik. Then that giant tried to attack an opposing threat, but it failed, that giant was obligated by them, They used a chargeable arm cannon beam attack. That figure took that robes off, it was Lark. And he looked like a floating Chaos Emerald behind that giant.

''So, this is it.'' He looked at the emerald, smiling.

''That's what I was looking for. Those majestic gems can grant me power, It can be more useful than building another Watcher Titan Robot.''

Then a shadow dropped. ''Even if you were defeated, you still insist on gaining another strength..?''

''Cyrus... Looks like you've been interested in it too, A Chaos Emerald..!" He looked at him, it seemed he had known of him much well, as he showed no fear.

''This..? Not at all..! I only came here to see, how you were doing... Pretty sure it sucks that you lost to one kid.''

''Oh. You him, that Balancer. It wasn't him, He is only the vessel.''

''Not a vessel, but more of a two-sides into one, He is really what we've feared of, a mysterious Wild Balancer legend.'' 

''It's another reason, why I seek chaos.'' He grinned.

''He has friends, that could make him a more troublesome opponent to deal with it, even so... He is still no near strong as me, I can probably even destroy him if I want to.''

''Then.. why not now..?! You have the power... Cyrus..!''

''It's part of my code, So I can't.''

''If you speak of, I can find a way of beating it, alone.''

''How..? I'm so curious about your plan, Lark.''

''Maybe.. with those emeralds, I can evolve. And I can have a chance of success.''

''We don't even know about the emerald's true potential, in fact.. no one is actually used.. and you're literally risking.. just  because you were beaten by a bunch of amateurs..?''

''If I can rid of him, then I can start my squad, He is my blockage after all.''

''Oh, I get it now... You're going to pay more effort than the last time since this is your third time losing an entire crew, so watch your step.''

''You always had that attitude, aren't you..? You make me sick. And.. here's one thing to tell. I won't forgive you for what you did to Cultrus, you committed a sign of betrayal of our species, aren't you..?'' Lark coldly said. 

''That's right, but.. here's one important detail that you fail to admit, you act like you're actually the highest, but you aren't. You're just stubborn, and what's worse... you treat everyone like if they are below you, and... Cultrus was just a maniac.''

''Get out of my sight, Cyrus.'' 

''Fine, Fine..! I better take my leave, Ever since this part of a mortal realm was abruptly erased, I'm going on my way, It's my curiosity on what state this whole place is in, Was it really distorted.. well... Cya ya.'' He kept his formal attitude and left. It seemed like their relationship was the same, it was a question if they even hate each other. But after that, Lark grabbed the Chaos Emerald and folded it into his palms.

''It's so majestic. I can feel a tasty power going into me.'' Then the same rainbow portal appeared and sucked Lark in.

It was for sure, only the last emerald was in no one's hands, Now.. where could that go next..?

The scenery changed to a sunny hill, it was no doubt the Sunset Hill, and suddenly three of them fell off the portal, they looked completly worn out. Knuckles would've just lay on the grass. 

He took a relief. ''Finally... we catched a break.''

Amy walked on. ''Don't just celeberate it. We haven't gotten to that mad scientist yet.''

On other side, Dijon would've just be sleeping.

She looked at him. ''Poor.. He must've been expierenced it alot, I can't forgive what they did to him, injecting him with a illegal substance...? that's just far.''

''I know. He is not the only one. Maybe... in other  side of this world, there's people that have been expierencing this too, not just us. Think about it, what about.. Tails.. Sonic...? or everyone else there, do you really think that they have been suffering this too?''

''You could be totally right on this one. But... hope our friends are okay.'' a sigh could been heard from her.

''But wait.. I still haven't pictured it yet. About the showcase you just presented. What was that..? You like had a hammer out of nowhere, and... some type of magic, i don't get it.''

''I think it was similiar to the powers that Tails once got, you surely missed out alot.''

''Really..? well, it has been a year. Much things have really changed.'' He made a grumping noise.

''You should probably talk with Dijon, i think he knows more of this stuff, but if i can explain it briefly. It's a power that made gave me a whole purpose.'' 

''That may still sound strange to me, it may have a whole mystery to it.''

''Knuckles. Let's just.. focus on what we are going to do, Stopping Dr.Eggman, and reuiniting with everyone.''

''Yeah, right. Let's just get this boy to safety, there's a house nearby. And yes.. this is the same place we'd been there with Dijon.''

''Sure. Let's get going..!'' she smiled it cheerfully.
