[ANOTHER-WORLD ARC] Chapter 40: Second Showdown Part 3

The Fist tried to shoot at Sonic, but he then quickly dodged, and he began throwing his kick to the robot's head, but then another came and slammed Sonic back to the ground, and Sonic grunted. ''UGH!"'

The Doctor laughed, ''HAHAHAHAHA!"' Afterwards he'd fired rockets at the hedgehog, but he'd used his tricks to jump across the rockets, and he'd used his homing attack on the Hyper Eggrobo, it made that model flinch, a little.

''I'm not giving it up!'' Both of the arms formed a combined formation, they'd locked to Sonic, and they began to trap him to the ground, but Sonic being Sonic, he'd dodged them quickly, and attacked the target with a shoulder bash, knocking the robot even more, and Sonic began to be overwhelmed by the machine's power. ''Heh.. that's all?''

''Gah..! it felt like you've become a bit tougher than before, it seems I need more to act, and more to strike!'' Eggman typed a certain combination combo code to the Eggrobo, and it suddenly grew spikes around it, being more bulkier and stronger, and with this much-gained power boost, it knocked the ground, making Sonic trapped in a place that he couldn't get out, as it wasn't over, he'd opened the two mini-gun turrets from the shoulder's and the bullets began storming onto Sonic.

Hedgehog did his best to not get hit by any of those bullets, but he'd got hit by a few of them, making him a slightly additional injury, but he'd succumbed. He used his speed to speed up and ramp around a fast-paced attack, that sends down the Eggrobo away, but with a surprise. The Hyper Eggrobo watched Sonic with two arms, it's accuracy got increased too. ''With this new upgrade, I can calculate your speed, hedgehog!"'

''Agh...! No..!!'' Sonic suddenly got trapped by those two floating hands, and he'd starting to make him suffocate.

''Behold... I have used the Master Emerald, to fully strengthen this mecha robot to make me use hyper beam on you!"'

it made him panic, and so Eggman did. He shoot a quick hyperbeam from the Hyper Eggrobo's chest area, and Sonic then gets hit by it sending him to the pillar and crashing it. Damaging Sonic, to the point he couldn't fight well now. ''Ugh...''

'' One year break was worthy, now with this.. I'll able to defeat you, and soon.. the world will be mine!"' He laughed.

''I won't.. let.. you..!'' Sonic grasped, then he started approaching Eggman, while he began holding onto his left shoulder, as signs of his current health being at the bad case.

''Oh.. please.. now.. disappear!'' The right floating hand accelerated to the hedgehog and was about to him.

One hand flew to him, and both then were destroyed by Sonic's trick. He summoned his Soul Weapon, and the hand was cut in half, then Sonic looked like he was panting, as the Soul energy began to consume his power more than already. ''Phew.. what.. the... Guess I cannot use this Sword..''

That made Eggman gasp a little. ''That.. thing. What is it exactly, the sword of yours, it's some of a new gimmick you've obtained, it surprises me.. but.. you really like to hide things from me.''

''I do. But.. You're lucky, it seems like I cannot use the Sword's fullest potential right now, as it seems my existence is about to evaporate.''

''Evaporate..?! then.. use the Sword on me, just once..! Now.. will see who will be evaporable first..?!''

''I say no..! You're not even worthy of being tasted with a power of a Soul Blade!"' Sonic charged yet another Spindash, and it hit on Eggman, this time, without the floating hand, he'd damaged the Eggrobo, it made some of its armor completely destroy it too, leaving him in a more vulnerable state.

''Gaah...! Not it... Again!''' With this much damage, Eggman fell off the control room, then Sonic leaped to the chest, and he'd began barraging it down with punches, it even made the floor break, both of them fell to a lower floor, then Sonic looked around. ''I thought... that we are going to end up falling down to the void, why is there still the floor underneath it..?''
