Marco made his way to Star's bedroom door. He knocked lightly and waited for a reply.
"Come in"
Marco slowly opened the door and walks in.
"What do you want?"
"Look, I'm sorry, okay. I won't try to justify what I did. I just want you to know I'm sorry. You're my best friend, and I don't want this to ruin our strong friendship"
Star sighed loudly. Damnit. He was being adorable. She wanted to keep being angry at him, but she just couldn't.
"Ughhh just come here"
Marco walked over and Star embraced him, squeezing him tightly
"Marco I am SO sorry. I didn't mean anything I said last night"
"I hoped you'd say that. It really did hurt me"
"Marco. I would never in a million years regret our friendship. It is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I promise"
Star finally let go and sat on her bed.
"So, how did it go after I left?"
"Well, it kinda sucked. Oskar doesn't understand women I don't think. You do though. You're living with me"
"Yeah. But no matter how hard I try, women will always be an enigma to me"
Star and Marco laughed together, it felt like ages since they last laughed together.
"Well. I think we should do something. Just to pass the time, y'know" Star suggested.
"Bounce Lounge?"
"You read my mind, Marco. Like a book"
...
Monday finally came, much to the dismay of Star and Marco. They both walked into school and went to their classes. Lunch soon came and the pair sat down to eat.
"Y'know Marco," Star said with a mouth full of burrito.
"You should try adding sugar to your burritos. They are seriously underrated"
"Haha. No way" Marco laughed.
"C'mon, just try it" Star said as she shoved the burrito Into his face.
"Star, seriously. That's disgusting"
"Your loss"
"It really isn't
Soon, Lars, the typical school bully strolled in and walked up to the pair. He didn't look happy.
"Hey, punk! I heard you threatened Oskar. You'd better be more careful or something bad might happen to you" He said threateningly.
"Oh yeah? What would happen to me?"
"Want to find out?" He said menacingly.
"Whatever. Just leave us alone"
"And you, girl. You were totally cheating on Oskar with this guy. He was telling me about
the way you looked at him as he 'saved you' from him. I ought to-"
"Leave her out of this! Or you'll regret it..."
"Don't worry, Marco. I got this" Star said cockily as she reached into her purse.
"Uh, Star? What's the holdup?"
"I..."
"I FORGOT MY WAND! I LEFT IT AT HOME!"
"Oh no."
"Besides, I still owe you for making a fool out of me with that stupid arm..." Lars said as he raised his arm.
