Scribble scribble.
Marco was doodling again. It didn't matter where, all that mattered was that it was relaxing him and he was enjoying it.
Marco was an artist. At least, that's what his family and friends called him. He enjoyed drawing a lot. And painting, and sculpting. He would take an interest in any art form really. His appearance certainly matched his personality. Red beret, pencil tucked behind his ear.
When Marco drew, or painted, he didn't like to think. He just went with his emotions. It's what he did best. And it always lead to his most praised and interesting pieces.
As Marco was doodling in class, he was suddenly startled by Mrs. Skullnick, his teacher.
"Well well well. Marco Diaz drawing instead of paying attention. That one's new." Mrs Skullnick said sarcastically.
Having ADHD made it hard for Marco to focus. Mrs Skullnick understood this, but knew it was important to give him reminders.
"Heh... sorry Mrs Skullnick..." Marco laughed softly.
"Please try and pay attention, Marco. This part is important..."
Mrs Skullnick went back to her droning. And Marco naturally went back to his drawing. What the heck?
His entire page was just... pictures of Star? His magical princess foreign exchange student? He brushed it off and hid the paper before anyone saw his... drawings.
Marco would never admit his feelings for the girl, after all, Marco believed he was too weird for such a beautiful girl like her. So he just kept his feelings inside, and eventually, like all his feelings usually did, they'd spill onto paper, making another drawing...
Ring! The school bell rang out signalling the end of the day.
"Class! The bell doesn't dismiss you, I do!" Mrs Skullnick frowned.
Everyone ignored her and left. Only Marco was left sitting down and listening to her.
"You're too pure, Marco. Go home.." Skullnick smiled.
Marco shrugged, waved goodbye to her and walked out of the classroom, where Star was waiting.
"What took you so long, handsome?" Star asked.
Marco got red. It was so easy for Star to do this to him.
"I was waiting because the bell doesn't dismiss us, Mrs Skullnick does... but no one listens..." Marco huffed.
"That's awfully kind of you to wait, Marco. Now let's go..."
Marco quickly rummaged into his pocket and pulled out his drawings of Star. He threw the paper with them on it into the bin and walked with the pretty girl.
...
The next day came, and Marco was in class. The bell rang, and the others stood up ready to leave.
"Marco, can I speak to you for a moment?" Mrs Skullnick asked.
Marco sighed. Star patted his back. He was probably gonna get another serious speech from Mrs Skullnick for his lack of attention in class. The others left, including Star, while Marco was held back.
"You dropped this." Mrs Skullnick said as she slammed a piece of paper on his desk.
What the?- his pictures of Star!
"I-I put that in the bin!" Marco gulped.
"You missed, Marco. Luckily for you, I kept it safe so no one got suspicious..."
