Monster Fight!

Ring! That was the sound of the bell at Echo Creek Academy. Star and Marco were ready to leave school and go home.

"Man! I can't wait to get home! Today was exhausting!" Marco said with glee.

"You know it! If you want, we can go dimension hopping once we're there" Star replied.

"Yeah, okay"

The pair began to walk out of the class when Marco grabbed Star and pulled her behind a wall.

"Marco, what?-"

"Shhhh. Ludo's gang are waiting for us, look"

Star peeped around the corner and saw Ludo and his gang loitering outside the school.

"You there!" Ludo screeched, pointing at Jackie Lynn Thomas.

"Have you seen Star Butterfly or Marco Diaz around here?"

"Wow, rude. They were just in maths, bird guy"

"Ludo!" Star called out as Marco and her jumped out, ready to attack.

"Perfect! Now's my chance to impress Jackie with my karate!"

"You wish, Marco" Star joked.

"It's her! Get the wand!" Ludo shouted.

It was on. Star and Marco were doing their regular beat-up-monsters technique until it was time to take out a more larger one. Star and Marco took their stance and got ready to attack.

Suddenly, the large monster whacked Marco in the face hard, knocking him far back.

"Marco!"

The monster laughed and got ready to attack Star

"Oh, that's it" Star said angrily.

"TUBO-NUCLEAR BUTTERFLY BLAST!!"

The wand basically exploded leaving Ludo's entire army immobilised.

"Okay, everyone! Walk of shame! Let's go!" Ludo called out to his beaten monsters.

"Oh my god, Marco are you okay?" Star said and she ran to his side.

He didn't look too good. He had been hit pretty hard across the face and he was out cold.

"Holy- is he okay?" Jackie asked, worried.

"I don't know. Just call someone!" Star said worriedly.

The ambulance soon arrived and took Marco away. Star didn't move from his side.

Marco woke up dazed and confused. He was in... a hospital? He looked over to his right and saw Star, with a worried and tearful face. She was overjoyed Marco had woken up and reached in to hug him tightly.

"Oh, Marco! I'm so glad you're okay! I was so worried"

"I'm okay! What even happen-"

Star lean him and kissed him on the cheek.

"Okay..." Marco said flustered.

"Sorry. I got excited. We were fighting monsters at the school and you took a big hit to the face. You fell and broke your leg, too,"

"Oh, man. I got a chance to impress Jackie and I screwed it up. Just great"

"Here's a mirror. Just look at yourself"

Marco looked at himself and gasped. The entire right side of his face was grey from the bruising.

"Wow"
