Marco opened his closet. Damn! He still couldn't find his favourite hoodie! They were all the same but... Marco was just... weird like that.

"Staaaarrrr!" Marco called out.

...

Star gulped. She quickly unzipped Marco's hoodie and took it off. She hid it under her bed in a shoebox and sat upright on her bed, waiting for Marco to inevitably walk in. She heard a faint knock on the door.

"You decent Star?" Marco asked innocently.

"Yes, Marco" she smiled.

Marco opened the door and walked in. Star was still in her nightgown.

"Star it's like the afternoon... you should probably get dressed..." Marco said as he rolled his eyes.

"My weekend my rules, pal..." Star smirked.

"Whatever... anyway have you seen my hoodie maybe? I can't find it anywhere..." Marco frowned.

"Don't you have like... 100?" Star asked.

"Yeah, but this one's my favourite! I wear it the most!"  Marco complained.

Star smirked. Oh, she knew that. She knew it was the hoodie Marco wore the most, that's why she took it, in fact.

"I say just drop it and wear another one..." Star suggested to get Marco off her back.

"But it's my favourite!" Marco groaned.

"Oh, C'mon, Marco. What's so great about this hoodie specifically?" Star asked.

"Well, it's a hoodie I let Jackie borrow for a bit before we... before we..." Marco began.

"Broke up?" Star finished.

"Yeah... " Marco sighed.

"Y'know what I say, Marco? I say you deserved better than her anyway, and you shouldn't cling to the past in the form of a few strings of polyester!" Star professed.

Marco smiled.

"Maybe you're right... Thanks, Star" Marco gleamed.

"No problem my little cinnamon..." Star teased.

Marco blushed and rolled his eyes.

"W-What have I told you about calling me that?" He stammered.

"Whaaat? Free speech, Marco..." Star smirked.

"T-That's not how it-"

"Bye Marco!" Star smiled as she pushed him out of his room. Marco shrugged and went on about his day.

In Star's room, however, Star was reaching for the shoebox. She opened it and giggled to herself evilly.

"My hoodie now, pretty boy..." She smirked.

She used a spell to lock her door. And she danced around in Marco's snuggly hoodie, clutching onto it with a flustered smirk on her face. She smelled it and she hugged herself in it. Was it weird? Sure. Did she care? No way!

"I... I love my best friend so much..." she whispered to herself.

She slapped a hand over her mouth. Was she crazy? Did she just say that? She awkwardly shuffled over to her bed and lay down.

"Why is love so confusing? Just pick one Star! Do you like him or not?" She demanded to herself.

"I don't know, me! I want to be with him but I don't wanna ruin what we have..." Star sighed.

"Pick one and stick to it, Star" she said to herself again.

"Okay fine! I... uh... don't like him! Yeah!" Star smirked.
