Nerd and Bully - Part 3

Marco slowly trudged into the library, holding his laptop. He peeked over the corner of the bookshelves with a suspicious glare. Suddenly-

"What the hell are you doing?" Star spat.

Marco quickly jolted.

"I was being secretive... I don't want anyone to know we're doing this or they'll get the wrong idea..." Marco whispered.

"Marco, the school library is usually completely empty. Stop being a pussy."

"Language." Marco frowned.

Star rolled her eyes, but as they turned the corner they found that the library was not in fact deserted as Star had hoped. It was quite full, filled with people looking to get their projects done early with their partners.

"Just great. Now I'm gonna been seen with a freak." Star sighed.

She didn't mean it of course. She didn't know what was wrong with her if she was being honest. Why was she being mean to the boy she liked?

"How do you think I'm gonna feel? Everyone's gonna think we wanted to be partners on purpose!"

"Whatever! Just find and dumb seat and we- WAIT!"

"What?" Marco asked.

"Janna is over there! Let's go!" Star smiled as she dragged Marco over to the table.

"Oh, sup, Star. Sup nerd." Janna smirked.

"Janna, they put me with this freak!" Star complained.

Janna looked from Star to Marco, then gave Star a comically enthusiastic wink.

"Why did Janna just give you a comedically exaggerated wink?" Marco asked.

"N-no reason! Right, JANNA?" Star glared at her.

"No reason at all..." Janna gulped.

Marco shrugged and sat down. He opened his laptop and began typing away.

"So, Janna, who'd you get put with?" Star asked.

Janna pointed at her partner getting a drink from the water fountain. It was the girl Star had ruthlessly insulted yesterday.

"Oof." Star cringed.

"Yep. She's a nerd, she'll do the work for me. I've chipped in one slide on the slideshow for her, and I've agreed to read most of it out. So we're pretty even..."

"I guess I should probably help the nerd out then, huh?" Star snickered.

"You said yourself you have no clue what you're writing about, Star... so you just keep yapping away with your girlfriend and leave me to do the work... and then on the day of the presentation you do what you do best, not shutting up, and read the PowerPoint. Unless... you can't read?" Marco smirked.

"I can read, dick. And besides, that works for me" Star said before blowing him a raspberry.

"Yeah, Marco, eat shit and die" Janna spat before flipping him off.

"So immature..." Marco sighed.

Janna and Star then began chattering away.

"So, Star... how are things with-" Janna began

She then pointed to Marco while he wasn't looking.

"ME AND JANNA ARE GOING TO THE TOILET NOW!" Star blushed.

"I don't get why you girls go to the bathroom together, it's weird..." Marco muttered.

Janna and Star shot him a glare before walking away. When they got to the bathroom, Star shook Janna crazily.
