Nerd and Bully - Part 2

Marco slowly closed his locker. He then snuck around the hallway. He was determined not to be caught by her. Something was super duper wrong. She wasn't... hunting him down to make fun of him. It put him on edge. What was she planning? She must be planning something!

Marco slowly entered his classroom. Star was at the back talking to Janna. He prayed he wouldn't have to talk to either of them. He still couldn't get over Star's new look. It looked as if she was some kind of angel who could do no wrong despite years of torment from her. He sat down and payed attention to his teacher, as he usually did.

"Girl I can't believe you're actually going through with this..." Janna sighed.

"What? Do I look silly? Please tell me I don't look silly!" Star begged.

"No, it's just... y'know? I've never seen a girl ho through all this trouble just for a boy. Especially someone of... Marco's sort" Janna said, glaring at Marco's back evilly.

"Cmon, Janna. He's cute!" Star huffed.

"Girl, you're lovesick... like bad..." Janna commented.

"Am not! Now shush! We gotta listen to the teacher!"

Janna looked at Star, mortified that she would ever utter those words from her own mouth.

"Okay, class. We're going to be doing a slideshow on poetry. I'm gonna team you up with one other person in this class and you and your partner will make 3 slides each" Mrs Skullnick said with her usual deadpan expression.

One person put their hand up.

"Can we choose our partner?" He asked.

"No. I will be picking it for you..." Skullnick said as the class groaned.

"Great. I'm gonna be put with some dweeb..." Janna scoffed.

"I wanna get with Marco..." Star said dreamily.

She was staring at him from the back of the classroom, her eyes stuck in a trance. She was stuck in her own little Star-land, daydreaming about being with Marco. She could imagine it now. Marco with no shirt, riding... a horse! With long hair! And a ripped chest! Yeah!

Snap!

She imagined him just swooping her off her feet... saying stuff like 'Come on, Star... I'm gonna take you away from this boring lesson... and take you out for dinner'... and Star would be all like 'Oh, Marco... how are you so handsome and hot? Of course I'd love for you to-

"STAR!!!" Janna shouted with a snap of her fingers.

Star jolted with a heavy blush. Suddenly, her chair fell backwards as she hit the ground, gathering the attention of the whole class. She blushed, picked up her chair, and sat back down awkwardly. One girl giggled a little bit.

"Shut it, fatso! I bet your bellybutton reaches your home 5 minutes before you do!" Star spat.

"STAR BUTTERFLY! PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE, NOW!!!" Skullnick suddenly roared.

"I HATE THIS SCHOOL!!!" She groaned as she stormed out of the classroom.

Marco watched as Star stomped away. Phew. He was hoping now she was gone he wouldn't be her partner for the project.

Mrs Skullnick read out the partners for each person. Phew! He was with the kid Star had just viciously insulted! He gave her a wave as she waved back. This was gonna be a piece of cake after all!

"What now, Star?" Principal Skeeves sighed.

"I insulted someone..." Star sighed.
