GAU = Goth AU
Star Butterfly was a goth. She had a black dress, black eyeliner, black Mewman heart cheek marks, a black devil headband and a black everything. She was 6,1 and very very disinterested in most things. She was calm, she was quiet but also very demanding when she had to be.
Her best friend, however, was her polar opposite. His name was Marco Diaz. He was 5,4, had very fluffy and soft hair, and was a hyperactive cinnamon roll of a boy. If you'd told someone they were both 16, they wouldn't believe you. And if you told them they were best friends they also wouldn't believe you. Star was very very calm and collected. Marco was none of those things. The two, despite their differences, made an amazing duo.
Star calmly sat down on the couch and scrolled through her phone. She looked up at the jumpy boy in front of her.
"What? What do you want?" She asked cruelly.
That was a little bit mean. Secretly, Star did care about him quite a bit. Maybe a little bit more than she should...
"I wanna do something FUN!!!" Marco said with excitement.
"I have an idea. You go upstairs and leave me alone." She scoffed.
"That's no fun at all! C'mon, don't be such a bummer!"
"Ugh. You're adamant on doing something aren't you?"
"Yes! I need to do something to tire me out or I'll be hyper all day and I'll annoy everyone in the house, including you!"
Star thought for a moment, pondering carefully.
"Have you ever considered the idea that you might have ADHD, Marco?" She asked.
Marco nodded.
"I for certain am! I'm gonna get it tested sometime soon actually!"
"How interesting. Alright... let me check something..."
She checked the Diaz family's food cabinet. It looked relatively empty.
"Perhaps we can go to the store."
"YIPEE!!!"
Star smiled slightly at his unneeded happiness at this. He was so happy for no reason, and it amused and attracted her.
"Then let's go."
Star stood up and the two walked outside. They began to walk to the store, with Star keeping a close eye on him, making sure he didn't run off like he usually did.
Marco suddenly walked over to a bush.
"Woa! There's a ladybug here!" He gasped.
Star rolled her eyes, pretending to be annoyed.
"Is it really that cool, Marco?" She asked.
"Yes! Yes, it is!"
Star walked over and looked.
"Very cool. Let's go"
As they walked, Marco kept getting sidetracked by cool things like ladybugs and sticks that looked like guns.
"Pew!" He said as he shot Star with a stick gun.
Star sighed.
"Don't touch sticks, they're dirty."
Marco wiped his hands on his jeans.
"They're not that dirty..."
Star groaned. She walked over and held his hand. He turned pink.
"Hold my hand. We need to get to the store before it gets dark and you're getting distracted." She said sternly.
"W-Well okay..."
