Marcbeth (Act |||)

It had been a few months since the play was announced. Since then Star and Marco had been practising and had fully memorised their words. Somehow, Star hadn't found out about the kissing part. But unfortunately, Marco couldn't hide this part forever. Ms Skullnick was doing rehearsals for the play. This would definitely bring an end to Star's blissful ignorance about the whole 'kissing' scene. And she wouldn't be happy. Star, again, was very passionate about the arts. She wouldn't take no for an answer. She would definitely make things weird in the name of drama.

"But mom! I'm feeling super ill today!" Marco lied.

"No, you're not, Marco. Your temperature was just fine. You are going to school"

"Noooooo!! Bleehhhh"

"Aw, come on Marco. Why don't you wanna go to school?"

"I- uhhhh. Just don't wanna today"

"Is it because of the rehearsal? Marco, me and you have aced the lines already! We'll be fine!"

"That's not the reason..."

"Whatever! C'mon or we'll be late!"

Marco reluctantly left the house with Star.

As the day went on, Marco was getting more worried. What would Star think of his cover-up? She definitely wouldn't be happy. Before Marco knew it, it was time for English. And he was dreading it.

"Okay, class. I hope you have been rehearsing for the past few months. I don't want any one of you looking like a fool out there" Mrs Skullnick bellowed.

"Finally! We get to show everyone how good we are as the main characters! Are you exited Marco?" Star asked.

"Huh. Yeeeeahh. I am" he replied worriedly.

"Don't worry, Marco"

Star touched his hand and comforted him.

"We will do just fine. We have been practicing hard"

"Yeah... gulp. Thanks..."

Eventually, it was Marco's time to go on stage. He was all dressed up for the role.

"So foul and fair... I say I have not seen since..." he began. Despite his worries, his performance was amazing.

"Hey, Star. What's up!" Janna asked as she sat down next to Star on the bench.

Star ignored her. She was too busy focusing on someone else...

"Yoohoo, Earth to Star?"

"Oh! Sorry Janna. I was daydreaming"

"Was you really, Star? Because it kinda looked like you were staring at Marco"

"H-hey! I wasn't staring. I was watching him perform!"

"Sure thing. I don't blame you Star. Marco definitely looks charming in a full suit of armour"

"Yeah, then again, who doesn't? I'm also quite surprised how fluent he is in old English. I didn't think that he w"

Star was zoning out again. Man. Marco looked just like one of the handsome knights Star would read about in her books.

"Star. You're zoning out again! It's your part!" Janna called.

"Oh! Crap!"

Star quickly got up onto the stage. Marco sat down in Stars old spot.
