Mikhail was beyond happy. It was Friday evening and he was home a day early. He hated that he wasn't able to make the walkthrough with his brother and girlfriend, but he hoped since he hadn't received seething phone calls that both parties were on their best behaviors.
He had been planning a date for him and Alyssa while handling business in Atlanta. He wanted something special that showed Alyssa he cared for her. When he told Asher it was Alyssa's idea for them to go to the strip club, Asher told him to marry her.
He knew he was right. Alyssa trusted him. She also wanted him to have fun with and without her. She was always thinking of him even if she didn't verbalize it and that warmed him.
Mikhail stopped and looked at his reflection in his bathroom mirror and realized without a shadow of a doubt that he was hopelessly in love with her.
He couldn't help it. He wanted to give her every good thing and spoil her like the queen she was. The night of their first date was better than he could've hoped for. Dinner the following nights always ended in a steamy make out with lips on various body parts. Ultimately, everything concluded in mind blowing orgasm after mind blowing orgasm.
Mikhail hadn't professed love to Alyssa because he knew she was a flight risk, but he did make it known every night that he wasn't going to let her go to which she responded with eyerolls and the title of "simp."
He had wanted girls in the past, but nothing like this. He knew it in his heart that Alyssa was the real deal and he wanted to keep her more than anything in the world.
However, Mikhail knew that his older brother was into her and she him, despite their refusals. He knew it would bother most, but it didn't bother him. He loved his brother and he loved Alyssa. The two people he cared about deserved to be happy and if being with one another made that possible then so be it.
He feared that Alyssa would come to terms with her feelings for Matvei before Matvei did and that would not be good. He feared that she would either feel guilty continuing something with him when she also had feelings for his brother or Matvei would do or say something that would send her packing.
Mikhail needed Matvei to get his head out of his ass and appreciate the good thing that was Alyssa Noelle Jacobs. She was a breath of fresh air into his dead lungs. Both of their dead lungs. He realized he needed Matvei to see that because something told him deep down that though she wouldn't admit it, the brothers were a packaged deal to her.
He made his way into his bedroom and dialed his brother for the second time. He wasn't answering which was worrisome since he knew today was Friday and he had met with Alyssa. He tried once more before calling Alyssa. She picked up on the second ring and it made him smile.
They talked about their day and Mikhail was beyond happy to hear how great things were going for her at work. "I told you that you'd be a major success." She chuckled at him. "It's only been a few weeks. We'll see how things go after a few months." He hummed a response sensing the shift in mood and in her facial expression over the FaceTime call. "You okay, babe?"
"Something happened tonight. When I went to see the house." Mikhail sat up against his headboard. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Alyssa smiled before replying no. "Matvei kissed me and I kissed him back. We dry humped, he fingered me while I jerked him off and then we both came. This was all before he yelled at me and stormed out."
Mikhail didn't know what to do with all the information. "Are you mad?" Mikhail shook his head no. "No, babe. It's just...I'm processing." Alyssa let out a groan. "I'm sorry." He chuckled at her. "What are you sorry for? You didn't do anything wrong. I've already accepted that I'm going to have to share you with my brooding brother. You're the one that has to get with the program."
