Mikhail knew Alyssa was pissed based solely off of the glares she shot his brother's way, but he didn't expect for her to give him the same cold shoulder. When she opted to ride with Winter and Vlad instead of him, he knew immediately that something was wrong.

They all walked into the restaurant/speakeasy feeling at home with the other patrons that were also in costume. Alyssa was laughing at something Keisha said when Mikhail took the opportunity to pull her back to talk.

"Why are you mad at me?" Alyssa sucked her teeth and made a move to leave but he held her back. "Lyssa, don't even try it. I'll spank your ass right here and now." She ripped her arm away from him. "Don't try that dom shit on me right now, Mik. I'm not in the mood."

Mikhail sighed and Alyssa saw his expression soften. "What's wrong? I get why you're mad at Matvei, but why me?" She stared at him as if he were stupid. "You knew." Mikhail blinked confusedly until it clicked. "You knew he kissed her and you said nothing!"

"It wasn't my secret to tell, Lys." Alyssa rolled her eyes and scoffed. "So, that's how we're playing it? I guess it'll always be the Melnik boys protecting each other over the respect I deserve in our relationship. Good to know!" She tried to leave once more but he held onto her waist.

"It's not like that, babe and you know that. I told him to tell you, but he wouldn't and now we're in this shit storm." Mikhail felt the weight on her shoulders. He felt like he could hear her insecurities screaming in her head. "He loves you."

"Tuh." Alyssa scoffed. "He does and you know that." She stared at Mikhail with hardened eyes. "I don't know shit. But what I do know is he's a pussy who would rather ruin a good thing than experience whatever hardships might come our way and fight them together."

Alyssa pulled away from Mikhail's hold. "Your brother's an asshole and so are you for protecting him. I know deep down if the roles were reversed you would tell me to tell him, but if I didn't in a timely manner you would tell him your damn self. This thing isn't balanced and I see that now."

He watched her walk over to the table the group was sitting at and sighed. His eyes connected with Matvei's sad ones and he scoffed. He made his way over and sat between Arseny and Vlad. He didn't know what the night had in store, but he prayed for a miracle to occur and heal his relationship.

The music was thumping at the lounge Konstantin had brought them to. The drinks were flowing and for the life of him Angel could not understand or let go that Alyssa was sober. "You really don't drink at all?" Alyssa chuckled at his tipsy state as she shook her head no. "I don't like who I become when I drink, so I just don't do it. It's not so bad being sober, Angel."

He shook his head vehemently. "I know that, but Daddy sometimes needs his libations to keep the ladies wanting." Keisha laughed out loud at his foolishness as Winter and Alyssa danced in their seats.

Konstantin had secured a VIP section meant for kings. Alyssa didn't know how much money he made but the setup was beyond legit. She had no idea that the lounge they were in was owned by the leader of the Mexican cartel who worked closely with the Melnik family on various occasions.

Alyssa was sober but that didn't stop her from making bad decisions. She was angry and feeling petty. A dangerous combination.

"Vladdy Daddy, let's dance." Before Vlad could compose himself he was being dragged out to the dancefloor feet away from their section. When Alyssa placed his hands on her hips and grinded her ample ass onto his dick he was a goner.

Matvei was currently burning holes into his cousin's skull as he watched Alyssa grind on him. He was pissed. He was furious. He was angry more than ever at himself. He looked at Mikhail who seemed more sad than angry and wondered what that was about.
