Mikhail stood in the doorway of Alyssa's bedroom with a bright smile on his face. When he saw Alyssa's text late last night of a sleeping Matvei in her bed with the most peaceful smile on his face he was stunned. He wouldn't believe it if she had simply told him and he knew that's why she provided physical evidence.
His brother had given in to the inevitable, because that's what the three of them were. Inevitable. Mikhail had spent countless hours just basking in the glow that was Alyssa Jacobs. She was everything he wanted in a woman and then some, but as time grew between them Mikhail learned Alyssa was everything he needed in a woman also.
She was who he and his brother both needed. As he stared at his brother who held Alyssa tightly he chuckled quietly. This was a good look on his brother and he'd be sure to tell him.
After everything Matvei had been through and was still going through as a result of his past, Mikhail wanted this for him more than he did himself. He wanted his brother to be cared for and cherished because he deserved it. Mikhail prayed his brother would get every good thing despite all he'd done and it seemed like God was finally answering.
Mikhail made his way to his brother's side with a mischievous grin on his face. He took a piece of Matvei's long hair and began tickling his nose. It took a couple of tries but eventually Matvei began swiping at his nose. Mikhail bit back the laugh that wanted to come tumbling out as he did it again.
His efforts were stopped when he felt the sharp pain of Matvei's grasp on his wrist. "What the actual fuck are you doing?" Matvei seethed. Mikhail tried pulling free to no avail. Once again he found himself in a position like many from his childhood. He always thought it was funny waking Matvei up in an annoying manner, but he always forgot that Matvei was the antithesis of a morning person and often chose violence.
"Let go!" Mikhail bit out. Matvei let him go with a shove before looking down at a sleeping Alyssa. He couldn't hide the smile on his face as he thought of their night together.
It definitely didn't go as planned. He was hoping to be buried face deep between her thick thighs until she passed out, but that didn't happen. Apparently he didn't heat her cookies to her liking and would be punished accordingly. He didn't mind it though because they spent the night and early morning talking.
He realized in those hours that Alyssa had already done a number on him. He was never the cuddle and talk kind of guy. Never. He didn't want to be. He had zero desire with any of the countless women he had slept with and yet there he was. Talking and shit.
He listened to everything she had to say and laughed at the many quips and jokes she offered between kisses. As Matvei looked at his sleeping beauty and chuckled quietly at her not so silent snores, he couldn't help but wonder if he changed because Alyssa was so amazing or rather that she was amazing because she changed him.
"Snap out of it, Romeo." Mikhail said bitterly as he rubbed his wrist. "Bitch, I know you're not talking. What the fuck are you doing here?" Mikhail glared at him. "I have the code to my girlfriend's house, ass wipe. What pray tell are you doing here?" Mikhail wiggled his eyebrows and Matvei scoffed in annoyance.
"How did you even get in without me knowing? I didn't even hear you." Mikhail smiled happily. "You're not the only one with mafia training, brother. I was a student of Sora Ito for many years, remember. I'm like a panther or a mongoose."
"You're a goose alright." Matvei said with an eyeroll. He moved Alyssa gently before getting out of bed and smacking Mikhail upside his head. "Don't you ever talk about our family business in front of her again." Mikhail sucked his teeth as he rubbed his head.
"You will learn that Alyssa Jacobs has the sleeping habits of a 500 pounds bear in hibernation." Mikhail looked over to his sleeping girlfriend and spoke at a normal volume. "Alyssa, babe, the house is on fire we need to leave." He was met back with snores. "See."
