Chapter 29: It Happened One Night

Alyssa could still feel the tremors from the mind blowing orgasms Matvei pulled from her. At one point, she was certain she'd go tumbling off the balcony with how she shook and welcomed death happily, but Matvei had a strong grip on her waist as he tongued her down for the umpteenth time.

"You keep smiling like that and you're going to give us up." Matvei chuckled as they made their way down the stairs. "How can I not smile when your amazing mouth and tongue have the power to turn me into putty?"

Matvei smiled at her and Alyssa realized she'd never get tired of it. Matvei's once rare smiles were becoming a common thing and she loved that. They were so beautiful and enriching in every way. She stopped him at the foot of the stairs and kissed him gently in appreciation.

It wasn't their usual kiss. This was just as potent but filled with a vulnerability that Matvei couldn't place. "You're amazing, you know that?" Matvei shook his head no. "You are and I need to tell you that more often. Thank you so much for being honest with me. It means the world to me that you put our relationship first. That you put me first." 

Alyssa gave him a sad smile that forced him to caress her cheek. "I've never had that before. A guy show me that I'm worthwhile, but you did and I really appreciate you for it. " Matvei pulled her close and kissed her deeply. He wanted to bask in the honest moment, but the very real fact that he was still lying to her tugged at his bleeding heart with a vengeance.

"Ready to meet my family?" Matvei said changing subjects. Alyssa groaned loudly, earning a chuckle. "It's going to be fine." Alyssa gave him a look. "It's not going to be fine. I nearly broke the face of a bitch who is somehow related to your family's business. This doesn't look good on any front, Matthew and you know it. They'll hate me, I'm sure of it."

Matvei pulled Alyssa into his arms. "They're going to love you because my uncles appreciate a woman who can handle her own. It's going to take more than a punch to shake up my family, babe. I can promise you that."

Alyssa gave him a look before relenting. She let out a sigh and allowed Matvei to lead her to the dining room. Alyssa was surprised to only see Keisha and Winter seated quietly. She was certain that the absence of food would've had Winter blowing up the spot.

"Matvei, go to your uncle's office. Something about an emergency Melnik meeting." Winter called out. Matvei was confused as to what could be happening. "Put some pep in your step, playboy. I was promised more food when y'all get back."

"More?" Keisha nodded her head. "I found a granola bar at the bottom of my purse. It's not much, but it's something." Matvei rolled his eyes before kissing Alyssa's temple and heading off. Alyssa smiled at his retreating back before taking a seat beside Winter. 

"You look happy. I guess I would be too after knocking that bitch out." Keisha snickered. "That did feel nice, but I'm smiling for a whole other reason. I was on my Shawnna tip." Winter and Keisha looked at her confusedly. "Shawnna?" Alyssa nodded happily. "I was gettin' some head...gettin' gettin' some head..." Alyssa sang out with a wide smile. 

Winter made a face while Keisha cackled loudly. "You're a whole ass fool, Alyssa." Alyssa simply shrugged before taking in the grand room. "This mansion is insanely beautiful." Keisha nodded her head while Winter simply grunted a reply.

"How are you feeling though? About everything? Your hand must hurt so bad." Alyssa looked down at her barely bruised hand and shook her head. "It's alright. Trust me, I was holding back with that wench." Winter snapped her fingers. "I know that's right. Great Value Barbie didn't want that smoke."

Alyssa and Keisha laughed out loud. "I'm okay, really. Matvei and I had a decent enough talk." Keisha gave her a look. "Beforehand, obviously." Alyssa said with a chuckle. "I wanted to ask you guys something though." Keisha and Winter noticed her serious expression. "What Julia said about Matvei...there being things about him that people don't know...what was she talking about?"
