Stiles had been overexaggerating about Theo ever since he came back to Beacon Hills, as asked to be part of Scott's pack. Stiles kept saying he couldn't put his tongue on it, but there was something wrong with Theo.

"So you ran a background check." Malia said.

"Yes." Stiles said.

"Stiles, don't you think you are being a little dramatic about this, don't you think Theo already proved himself yesterday." Harlow said.

"No, and of course you would say that." Stiles said.

"What do you mean by that?" Harlow asked.

"Harlow, you used to have a crush on him, that's why." Stiles said.

"I thought we were over that phase." Harlow said." Okay, fine. You apparently did a background check, but only found a speeding ticket."

"Speeding ticket signed by Theo's dad eight years ago." Stiles said.

"Which means what?" Malia asked.

"Who speeds?" Stiles asked. "People trying to get away from something."

"Stiles, really. What could Theo possibly run away from?" Harlow asked.

"I don't know." Stiles said.

"And how many tickets do you have?" Malia asked.

"None." Stiles said, making Harlow raise her eyebrow at him.

"Clarify, how many would you have if your dad didn't save your ass every time." Harlow said, making Malia smirk at her sister. Stiles stared at her.

"Fine, Seventeen." Stiles said.

"That proves exactly my point." Harlow said.

"I don't know, Stiles." Malia said. "I mean, I see why you're worried. He's really hot. No wonder why Harlow has a crush on him."

"I had a crush on him. Key word, HAD." Harlow said.

"Never mind that. He's got like great hair, perfect body. You should definitely feel threatened." Malia said.

"Thank you. Because I do." Stiles said. "Now more than ever."
