31: First Day at The Last Paradise

A/n: For anyone who still doesn't know what the other two look like, I drew this trio posing the mean girls pose :D Tbh, the last time we get to grasp Morikawa and Tanaka's appearance was through Arina's perspective and her standard was a bit too high since these two are considered very pretty compared to average people. Though Tanaka doesn't know how to take care of her skin that's why Arina described her face as 'crusty-looking'.

Each group in class 2-A was assigned a leader on account to better manage the students. Group 2 -- Arina's group — had Teppei appointed by Asano as the group leader.

When they arrived at the Forest Monkey entrance, Edirusdiman read out the guidelines for them, which included storing their belongings, but Teppei didn't seem to grasp that as he casually walked in, filming a travel vlog with a camera holding loosely in his hand.

Each group paid for bananas to feed the macaques before entering whilst under Asano's influence, group 1 was the only group that didn't buy anything considering Asano told them it wasn't necessary to spoil the macaques, and the thing they should pay their mind to most is the ancient places of worship.

Knowing Arina, she bought tons of bananas to spoil the macaques. Seo encountered the curious macaques at the entrance and already encouraged them to climb on his body to claim the banana trophy. Akeboshi was careful not to vomit by any chance since the guideline forbade him to bring any plastic or paper bags inside, thus he couldn't risk feeding the dirty macaques and went to sit somewhere and sighed. Ami was playing with the macaques as a testament and pretending to eat away their bananas and stamping on them, which, the result wasn't all that great. She had to run away after that. Mei was acting scared when she saw the macaques getting too close to her and immediately gave all her bananas to Arina. Meanwhile, Teppei was still immersing himself in the filming.

One could say the rest of the groups behaved somewhat like group 2, whilst group 1 was the only group to pay attention to the tour guide. Edirusdiman was giving them information about the statue of the goddess Sri Devi. She held rice in her hand, which symbolized fertility. Asano encouraged them to take notes gingerly, while it was the perfect chance for Koyama to flex his memorization skill. Ren peeked at the other groups and signed in an undertone. He wanted to have the freedom they have, so seizing it as a chance he'd make a move on Juria, though, Asano was keeping their group too watertight.

However, having Asano as their group leader should've been a blessing, for the group 2 leader got both his glasses and his precious camera stolen from his grip by a naughty macaque, making him panic and chase after it.

Nearby tourists huddled around to witness this scene of a Japanese student desperately fighting a macaque to reclaim his belongings. Eventually, to their utmost shock and thrill, Teppei punched the macaque in its face, sending it flying away from view, and retrieved the dropped broken glasses and camera on the ground.

"ARAKI-BOY!" exclaimed the hippie tour guide, fleeing to the aftermath of the scene after other students came to report to Mr. Gojou and him.

"YOU DARE TO DISTURB THE PEACE!?" he spat.

But it wasn't just them, some village members who served to maintain the Monkey Forest also fled to Teppei and scolded him. Fortunately for Teppei, that macaque was uninjured but he still got charged with an amount of money for creating chaos in the sacred forest.

Asano glared at Teppei with utter disapproval, whilst the other Big Fives members thought his incident was nothing but hilarious. But Teppei cared neither of them, all he cared about now was how will Ami perceive him after this.

Ami turned out to like him even better than before since he just inspired her for another youtube video. And when Teppei heard that, his face flushed, and told himself he should do stuff like that more frequently. Even worse, Arina and Seo joined in, encouraging him to get out of his comfort zone and try reckless things to impress Ami.
