Arina Avenira -- a girl who wrote herself into history for changing the game of women's figure skating. She was the original. She was the Quad Queen. Tsaplina jumped a quad combo, while she jumped two quad combos and a single quad. But was Anna's score of 166.87 too high? Was that even make sense? Those were what was happening in Asano's head.

"I love you -- ooh, I love you too!" waved Arina with both arms at the fans in the audience seats, giggling bubbly. She even skated to greet every single lucky fan sitting on the lower level of the stadium, receiving gifts directly from them as well as picking up stuffed animals that were thrown on the rink on the way.

"You did very well, Arina, I have a big surprise for you at home," Asano had run down in sheer eagerness and clutched her hands tightly when she approached. His dedication never disappoint him, because the pure delight in Arina's amiable, glistening set of eyes never ceased to make him feel like the happiest boy in the world.

"AVENIRA!" Petrosyan's imposing voice chased her throughout the ice rink as Arina snapped back in realization.

"I'm awfully grateful, Asano-kun, and I gotta go now! You ought to wish me luck for the score so I can be worthy of all your consideration!" said Arina gleefully.

Asano smiled and nodded, watching her skate away from his sight. Somehow, an uneasy feeling hit upon him -- what if the same situation from yesterday repeats?

Arina was reprimanded by Petrosyan for wasting time greeting the audience. "Oh, but it just feels so good to get to know each person there is in this world," was her response which unfortunately resulted in even more negative reaction from her coaches.

Sitting between Petrosyan and Dyamin, Arina eagerly glanced upward at the big screen where they announced the score.

"Sorry, I fainted for a while," Teppei fixed his glasses seconds after regaining consciousness. "Well, where are we now? Oh, it's time for the final score already? Then it's no question that Arina Avenira is going to win this free program as this routine is even eligible to compete with the men's division!"

Teppei wasn't alone in his thinking, because the entirety of the folks in this arena were as well, all of whom were so sure they were willing to bet their house that Arina would score the highest.

Unbeknownst to them, Arina was the girl who had the world turned its back against her. When the result came out lower than Anna Tsaplina, being 166.62, the whole arena sank into complete silence. It was so eerily quiet that if one shut their eyes, they wouldn't be able to tell a little more than 5000 people were compacted within this place.

On contrary to yesterday, they just stood up and left, right before the announcement of the final score, in silence. Some times later there were tears from children, and finally, bashes from the highly active fans.

During everything that had happened Arina, too, remained silent. She roved her eyes from the coaches to the other competitors, to the judges, to the audience, and back to the coaches. Suddenly her overwhelming bitterness kicked in, and she wasn't so sure what within her was either resentment or despair or maybe both. Dropping her new stuffed animal friends she sprang off to wherever away from mortal gazes that put her coaches in a dumbfounded state.
