Did I just combine two ships for this? Yes, yes I did. And you know what the worst part is? You can't stop me, mwahahaha
This is...a lot happening in a chapter.
"I'm going to kill him." Regulus muttered darkly, plopping down on the bench next to Pandora and Y/n.
"What happened, with who, where, why are we killing them, and how are we getting rid of the body?" Pandora asked, not looking up from the book she was reading.
"My brother." Regulus complained. "Keeps taking my things as a prank or a practical joke, but the moron never gives it back."
"Siri is just playing with you-" Y/n tried to intervene.
Regulus sent her a dark look again.
"So, what do we do to retaliate?" Pandora asked, neatly closing her book.
Regulus grinned. "That, ladies, is why we are friends. Because you are both as vindictive and twisted as I am, especially you, Y/n. Now, plot with me."
The three huddled together, formulating their plan.
"So the map is in their room. I'll be able to get in. Dora, you cause a diversion in the hallway. Reg, you have to be ready outside the common room, and ready to run." Y/n said as the three walked down the hall.
"See you on the other side." Pandora said, fist bumping Y/n and Regulus in turn.
"See you in detention, more like it." Y/n muttered as she entered her common room.
"Um...guys?" Y/n spoke, trying her best to look panicked as she approached the marauders.
The four boys looked up at her.
"Y/n? What's wrong?" James asked, already on his feet. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.
Sirius and Remus had also made their way over to her, flanking James on either side. Peter awkwardly stood a few paces behind them.
"Did you guys set up the trap that caught Pandora?"
She saw Remus blanch. Sirius barked a laugh into his sleeve. James just looked confused. Peter's eyes were as wide as saucers.
"No?" James answered, before turning to his comrades.
"We should help get her down-"Remus began.
"Rem, no need to be sensible. Let's just go watch the show." Sirius laughed.
"No, no. Remus is right. Let's go get her down. The trap wasn't made for her." James said, leading the rest of the Marauders away and out of the common room.
Y/n smiled to herself. First part done.
She ran up the stairs to the boys dormitory, skipping a few steps in between in her rush.
She marched into their room, opening James' dresser drawer. The map was always hidden under his quidditch shirts.
She closed the drawer and stuffed the map into her robes, before departing down to the common room again.
She exited the portrait, seeing Regulus leaning against the wall.
"Do you have it?" Regulus asked.
Y/n scoffed. "Of course."
She handed the map to Regulus, starting to calmly walk away, as if nothing was amiss.
"Someone has the map." Remus spoke from down the hallway.
Y/n glanced over at Regulus, who had now started to break into a sweat.
"Stop it!" Y/n hissed.
"I can't." Regulus hissed back.
"Oi! Reggie!" Sirius called.
Regulus broke out into a run, pulling Y/n along with him.
"Moron! You insolent idiot! We could have played it off!" Y/n scolded as they ran blindly in the opposite direction of the Marauders.
"I can't lie to Sirius!" Regulus defended, pulling Y/n around a corner and up the stairs.
"I can! So shut up next time and stay cool." Y/n seethed as they scrambled into a closet in the Astronomy tower.
The closet was too dark.
"Lumos." Regulus whispered, igniting his wand.
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." Y/n muttered, opening the map.
Her eyes scanned for the names of their pursuers.
They were on their way up the stairs.
"They won't find us in here-" Regulus began to speak when he saw her reading the map, but the door was suddenly pulled open.
There stood a ticked off looking Remus, and an amused Sirius and James, and Peter stood a few feet behind them, out of breath.
"We'll give you a thirty second head start. Whatever we do to you when we find you, is completely up to how quickly you hand over the map." Sirius said.
"It was Y/n's idea!" Regulus said, taking off.
"You ass!" Y/n screamed after him, running to catch up.
She had made it down the stairs, and around a bend, till she was tackled to the floor.
She groaned. There were too many people on her.
"Dog pile!" She heard Sirius cheer from somewhere above her.
James was holding her legs, clearly the one who tackled her. Sirius had tripped and landed on James, effectively locking her in place.
"So, Y/n? What will it be?" Remus asked, walking around to her head.
She craned her neck to see him better. Peter was leaning against a wall to catch his breath, and Remus was grinning down triumphantly at her.
"Death over surrender!" Y/n dramatised, trying to move.
Remus crouched down to look at her.
"So stubborn. Now we have to do this the hard way." Remus tutted.
Sirius got up, her wand in hand. James had somehow managed to knick the map out of her pocket.
She sighed in defeat. "Three against one isn't a fair fight." Y/n complained. Remus pulled her to her feet.
"Too bad. You had the option of us going easy on you." James quipped.
Y/n sighed, following reluctantly behind the three, unsure of what they would make her do as punishment.
She spots Regulus hiding behind a pillar.
"This is the last time I help you with anything, traitor!" Y/n complains.
Regulus smiled and makes her a heart with his fingers as she flips him off.
"You and Reggie never cease to amaze me." Sirius mused.
