My mother woke me up at 7, (GM time) and I only went to bed at like 2 a.m. so I'm exhausted, but here I am. And my school starts at 13:00, so I've got stuffs to do before such.

I passed the quaffel to my fellow chaser, Blaise Zabini. He grinned at me, and Draco nearly flipped off of his broom when he saw that. "L/n! He grinned at you! He never even cracks a smile at anyone!" Draco said, pulling up next to me on his broom. I rolled my eyes and punched him in the shoulder, and he had to grip the handle not to topple off.

"Fly off blondie, if you do this on match day I'll personally escort you to the gates of hell. I can't stand the smug look on Potter's face if they win again," I say bitterly. This seems to set a resolve in Draco, and he flys back up.

After practice, Blaise walks over to me. "Good day," he greeted. I blanched. "Hi," I say with a laugh, "that's an odd way of saying hello."

"It is the proper way. It's how my mother taught me," he said, in his usual silky smooth speech.

"Well, lucky me. I'm rather improper," I say, pointing at my hairstyle. I had tied my hair up in a knot on top of my head.

Blaise looked at where I was pointing, and I saw the corner of his mouth quirking upwards in the slightest manner.

"Well, are you able to be formal?" He asked, his cool and composed demeanor back in place yet again.

"If I really have to be, then yes, maybe I can be formal," I say with a snort. This makes Blaise smirk ever so slightly.

"Wonderful. I'll await you in the common room this evening. You are attending the Slug Club meeting with me," he says, waltzing away.

"Who said I'm going with you?" I called after him.

"I did," Draco said, landing next to me. I scowl are him.

"Oh shut up L/n! The whole of Hogwarts know you're in love with him. Personally, I don't see why. He's an arse," I cross my arms and send him a look.

"That's rich coming from you," I say, rolling my eyes.

I walk off the pitch and to the showers. I need an outfit for the Slug Club meeting. Oh Merlin, please let me not have to wear a....dress.

As I'm leaving the locker room, I spot Blaise walking just up ahead. I run to catch up to him. He slows his strides so that I don't have to jog to keep up with him. "Yes?" He asked, turning his deep brown eyes on me. My brain sputters slightly.

"Um...do I have to wear a dress?" I ask. Blaise smiles. "I see you've decided you are going to accompany me," he said with an easy smile.

"Well, it's not like I have a choice, do I?" I ask, and he blinks, seeming to consider my words.

"Fair point. Yes, you must wear a dress. It's a rather formal event," Blaise said, walking off. I groan. Why does it have to be a dress?

I return to my room to get ready. I brush out my hair and leave it down. I don't normally leave it down, so this is a first for me. I apply some light lips gloss and some mascara, not wanting to look like a cake face.

I put on a classic black dress, and some heels to look like I'm not a complete and utter idiot.

Now that I am dressed and looking the part, I head down to the Common Room, where Blaise is awaiting my presence. He smiles when he sees me.

"Wow. You look like a fallen angle," Blaise said, an easy smile on his lips.

"Way to tell a girl she looks horrid," I mutter.

"Fallen angles were described as very beautiful, on the contrary," he said, holding out his arm to me. I rolled my eyes. "Nice save."

I had fun with Blaise at the party. We left last. He loosened up a lot more, as soon as there were less people.

Stumbling back to the common room in a fit of laughter, he turned to me at the base of the stairs.

"Thank you for coming with me Y/n. I couldn't have envisioned a better evening," he said with a smile.

"Oh, to hell with the formalities," I say, and grab the back of his neck, smashing his lips onto mine. He smiles when we pull apart.

"Wow. I didn't think I'd get a rise out of you," he says with a smirk. I blush. He steps back and kisses my hand.

"Till tomorrow, Y/n," he said, straightening and walking to the boys dormitories. I stood there stunned for a few moments.

"Well, that went better than I envisioned," Draco said, swirling around in a black leather chair.

I hurled a candlestick at him. "Shut up. At least I got a kiss from the boy that I like," I said with an evil smirk.

I departed to Draco's mortified expression, chuckling to myself.
