Since Ravenclaw don't get that much hype

"Oi! L/n!" The voice of Draco Bleach-Blond Malfoy falls through the hallway. I ignore him, and keep walking. He's so annoying sometimes. I have a huge crush on him, but he's still annoying as heck.

"Hey! L/n!" He called again. I heard footsteps behind me. He was jogging to keep up with me.

"So, in case you were wondering, I finished second in Charms. Which means I'm officially better than you," Draco smirked. I rolled my eyes.

"I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong," I quipped, and Draco sniffed in distaste to my comment.

"Well, at least I'm more good looking than you, I mean, if I had a face like yours, I'd sue my parents," Draco retorted. That comment stopped me in my tracks. I turned around to face him.

"Eight planets, seven continents, seven seas, eight hundred and nine islands, a hundred and ninety six countries, and I still had the displeasure of meeting you," I replied with narrowed eyes, folding my arms over my chest.

He was taken aback by my comment. "Well, at least I'm not as boring as you," he said with a satisfied smirk.

"Oh yeah? What makes you so interesting?" I asked sarcastically, rolling my eyes, and turning on my heels.

"If you maybe weren't such a bitch we could go on a date and you could find out," Draco said with a laugh.

I whipped around and pulled out my wand. "Incendo!"

Draco's clothing caught fire, and he started panicking, having no idea what to do.

"Stop drop and roll you dumbass! Your lack of brains is why there needs to be a lifeguard at the gene pools!" I called over his panic.

He put out the flames by himself. "That was uncalled for!" Draco seethed, drawing his wand.

"Well, when you call me a bitch, I have the right to show you what that word truly means," I said, turning to walk away now.

"Flippedo!" I felt cast at my back. I fall over, face planting.

"Agumenti!" I fire back, drenching Draco from head to toe. I try not to look at how his dress shirt is clinging to his chest, or how good he looks with wet hair.

"Talrantellegra!" Draco fires back, and my feet start dancing at their own accord.

"Avis!" I throw at him, and a bunch of birds hurtle at him, pecking at his hair.

"Serpensortia!" Draco casts, and a snake appears at my feet. I make it disappear.

"Fernuculus!" I fire back, and boils sprout all over Draco's skin. It must burn, because he hisses in pain.

"Petrificus totalus!" He casts, making my whole body go rigid, and I fall to the floor with a crack.

"Expeliramus!" A new voice says. I'd look up, but I can't move. Hermione comes into sight, holding both our wands in her hand, after casting Accio.

"Hospital wing. Go. I'll give your wands to Madam Pomfrey, and you can only get them back when you two have made up.

Madam Pomfrey diagnosed Draco with burns, boils, and a few scratches. I have a broken wrist, and a pulled Achilles.

Left in the hospital wing alone over night, Draco in the bed across from mine.

"Y/n?" He calls, causing my eyes to open.

"What?" I groan, sitting up.

"You're not any of those things I said you were. You're wonderful, and kind, and smart, and beautiful," he said quietly.

"Wait...did you just...compliment me?" I asked in disbelief.

"Forget it," Draco muttered, turning away from my eyes.

"No, that sounded harsh. Thank you Draco. That means a lot to me. You're clever, and nice when you want to be, and I'm glad I met you. And I'm sorry for hexing you," I whispered.

I got no reply. I just heard Draco walk over to me.

"Do you want to know why I always want to be better than you?" He asked, standing at the foot of my bed.

"Um sure..." I replied.

"I need some way to impress you. Some way to make you think I'm special, and not just any other guy. I insult you to get your attention. I'm sorry that today went too far," he apologized.

"Why would you want to impress me?" I snorted.

Even in the dim light, I could see Draco roll his eyes. "I like you dumbass."

"I like you too moron," I replied, and Draco kissed my hand. I smiled.

"Get back to bed before Madam Pomfrey kills you," I said, smiling at him.

"For you, it would be worth it," Draco said with a wink, walking back over to his bed.
