The Death Of A Monster And An Impasse

We were racing to the ballet studio after picking up Edward and the others as we knew Bella had gone to James and Sebastian had followed her. Alice was trying to keep both me and Edward calm but it wasn't particularly working. Rose finally had enough and looked at me "Jasper, Seb is strong and he has magic that could probably put James on his ass. He's not going to stop fighting to stay alive. He loves you, trust him with that." I nodded because she was right, it still didn't make it any easier.

We arrived at the ballet studio and I immediately smelled blood. Nothing could have prepared me for what I walked in on, I saw Bella on the ground passed out in some kind of bubble covered in blood as James and Seb were locked in a fight. Ok, more accurately Seb was fighting as James wasn't really doing much. I was stunned as James was brought to his knees screaming and holding his head.

Edward immediately ran to Bella but couldn't get past the barrier. He turned to Seb "can you take it down?"

"I'm a little busy," Seb replied as he pushed James to his knees again. "Not to mention the fact that she's been bitten and is covered in blood." I nodded at that because that was a good point especially considering the fact that she is Edward's singer.

Carlisle spoke up next "Bash please, I need to get to her." Seb looked at him quickly before nodding. He raised the hand that wasn't keeping James on the ground before a tendril of black and gold smoke headed to the barrier and we watched it disappear. Carlisle and Edward immediately headed to Bella while me and Emmett moved to Sebastian to help him with James.

Sebastian noticed us coming to his sides "I can hold him if you wanna rip him apart."

I looked at Emmett across Seb and he nodded before I spoke to Seb "yeah, we can do that darling." Sebastian smiled before he tightened his grip on James and then nodded to us. Me and Emmett listened to his direction and sped to rip James apart. When he was ripped completely apart Sebastian dropped his hold on James's body parts before telling us to step back.

We listened to him and were in awe as he used his magic to set all of James on fire turning him to ash. Once we were done with James, I turned to Seb and hugged him hard before speaking in his ear "don't ever do that again. When I saw you and Bella were gone, I was terrified."

"I know," he nuzzled my neck as he spoke. "I'm sorry but I figured out that Bella was leaving and I had a split decision to make." I nodded as we all turned to the others. I gasped as Edward sucked out the venom from Bella's bite before we all headed back to Forks with Bella in the hospital.

I was in my room at the Cullen house with Sebastian just laying on my chest. I sighed "you scared the absolute hell out of me."

"I'm sorry," he spoke into my chest. "I didn't exactly mean to, even though I don't particularly like Bella it doesn't mean that I want her dead."

"Just don't ever do that again," I pleaded with him because I really couldn't have another close scare like that again. "When I walked into the studio and saw you holding your own against James I've never been prouder but I also realized that I love you."

He sat up and faced me, "what?"

I sighed "finding out you were gone and the whole journey between you missing and finding you all I could think was the fact that I couldn't live without you. Along with the fact that I hadn't got the chance to tell you that I love you."

Seb stared at me before smiling and whispering "I love you too," he then crashed his lips onto me before pulling back and smiled. He laid down on my chest again before whispering "I can't believe Alice was created because of James."

"I know," I thought about the video that all of us Cullens had watched after Sebastian had told us about. "I can only be glad that the other vampire turned her before James could get to her."

He nodded and we stayed like that before I heard a car door slam and then the front door. Me and Sebastian both looked at each other realizing that Edward was home. We walked downstairs where we met Edward who was ranting to Rosalie "she asked me why I didn't let the venom spread."

Rosalie who was tired of this argument spoke "well, why didn't you then this whole thing could be solved."

"Because I refuse to damn her to an eternity of night and that's the end of it." Edward yelled before heading up to his room making me and Sebastian look at Rosalie who just shrugged and rolled her eyes.

It had been a week since the James incident and the others were at prom while I was laying in Jasper's bed as he took a shower after coming back from hunting. I was just in a pair of sweat pants and I was scrolling through my phone before hearing the door open and watching Jasper walk in from the bathroom. He looked at me before joining me on the bed. 

We separated as we were panting just trying to catch our breath. He pulled me to him after we had cleaned up and I rested my head on his chest with our hands intertwined. He kissed my head "I didn't hurt you did I?"

I shook my head "no, I'll most likely have bruises from your grip and a mark from your bite but I enjoyed it." He smiled at that before kissing my head.

"I claimed you with my bite," he spoke in a smug voice. "You're mine now."

"I always was," I spoke sincerely before he grabbed my chin with his hand and kissed me. I laid my head back on his chest as we pulled away before falling asleep wrapped in his arms with my head on his chest.
