Jacob and the wolves were currently staying in wolf form worried about the battle. I knew that Paul and Sam at least were doing this to protect us without a complaint. 

Edward and Bella had gone to the Denalis to ask them to help us with defending Renesmee. Edward had called on the way back and informed us that the Denalis were willing to help us. 

As the Denalis showed up, Tanya the most annoying one and the one who spent more time looking at Jasper and Emmett like they were dinner than anything started grilling Jacob who had switched back to human for now on how the wolves would help. 

I could tell Jacob was getting annoyed and said, "the wolves can block most of the vampire's gifts. What's your ability, Tanya? Being annoying. Yeah because that's going to help much against the Volturi guards." 

Jacob snorted along with the others knowing that I was right. Eleazer stepped up to prevent a fight and spoke "what a talented family you have." He looked between all of us "an empath, a fear manipulator warlock, a fire wielder, a siren, a mind reader, and someone who can show emotion." 

Carlisle nodded "yeah and I have a feeling that Aro is feeling quite threatened about that fact." I nodded because I had been thinking the same thing. I could tell with one look at Jasper that so had he and neither of us liked what it meant. 

Carmen, Eleazer's wife nodded "Aro likes to collect powers. I mean look at his guard. Demetri is a hell of a tracker, Jane can cause pain with just a look, Alec can take away all of your senses, Aro can read minds and memories, Marcus can see bonds, Chelsea can manipulate them, and Renata is a physical shield." 

Bella nodded looking excited "well, what's my ability?" 

Eleazer was quiet for a moment then looked at Bella almost as if he was seeing something wrong and unbelievable. "You don't have one." 

"What?" Carlisle and Esme spoke looking at their old friend as he nodded. Carlisle sighed "How is that possible?" 

Jasper and I smirked before I spoke "that would be me."  

I watched as everyone's face went slack in shock as Eleazar questioned "the fear manipulator?" 

"Yep," I nodded as I looked at the others. "we all know I hate my sister and I'm only fighting for Renesmee at this point because she's innocent in all of this. I also knew that the only reason Bella even wanted to have the child was to force the Cullens to turn her. So I cast a spell that took away her gift."

Bella gasped "HOW COULD YOU?" 

I didn't even bother answering her but Rosalie refused to let her attack me "OF COURSE HE DARES BITCH. HE DOES NOT LIKE YOU IN THE SLIGHTEST PLUS THE LAST TIME HE FOUGHT FOR YOU, HE DIED." 

Bella was thoroughly chastised while Jasper and I smiled at Rosalie in thanks. Carlisle gained control back and spoke up "the way to convince Aro to go away is to take his argument away." 

Everyone nodded in agreement although I wasn't sure that it was going to be so easy to convince Aro and the Volturi to leave once they knew about me or Jasper, Emmett, and Rose. We then heard a car coming down the road and Jasper smiled before looking at me "Charlotte and Peter." 

As the weeks went by more and more vampires with extraordinary gifts visited to help us. Almost all of them were friends with at least one of us however there was still no sign of Alice and Ben which had all of us feeling nervous. 

As we started fight training more and more showed up ending with Romanian vampires that no one fully trusted. In the end, they had seventeen witnesses to supplement the family, the Cullens eight members plus the Denali four creating twelve put together. Thus creating a total of twenty-nine vampires to stand before the Volturi in hopes that they can make the Volturi pause and hear their case.

I had a bad feeling that collecting witnesses would be seen as an act of war and an army by the Volturi, not the witnesses that they actually were.
