Jasper immediately wrapped me up in his arms as a way to calm my rage at what had just happened with Bella. I silently soundproofed the room having a feeling that I knew where this was heading.
He looked at me and we both smiled before cuddling closer. I looked at Jasper "how do you think the Volturi is going to react to Edward and Bella's child?
"Not well," Jasper spoke looking at the ceiling and I knew that he was telling the truth. I just hoped that Edward listened to us and talked to his mate otherwise this was going to be very interesting.
We both walked down to the living room where all of the others were in the kitchen. It was then that Jacob came back from wherever he was and looked at us "Charlie knows and wants to see Bella."
Bella, Edward, and I all looked at him like he was insane. "Are you crazy" we all yelled at the same time. We looked at each other kind of amazed that we had all somehow found something that we finally agreed on.
I knew that Jacob had done this so the Cullens wouldn't move away and take him from his imprint. I knew from Sam and Paul that wolves die without their imprint so it didn't surprise me that Jake was using every trick in the book to get us to stay.
Nevertheless, the damage was done and Charlie was coming to see Bella and I who were both semi- newborns. I already knew how to act human but Bella didn't so she got a crash course in acting human before Charlie came.
Charlie showed up that afternoon hugging both Bella and me. Jasper had a death grip on my hand making sure that I didn't attack my adoptive father. I had never been more grateful for my mate than I was right now.
I watched Bella and noticed that she had no blood lust which was a lot like me when I turned. I was happy that she didn't lunge for Charlie once. The visit with Charlie went on for a couple of hours before ending late.
Charlie hugged the two of us before heading back to his house. I noticed Bella was excited that she didn't attack someone and I had to agree with her. Edward then looked at Bella before looking at me and Jasper then nodding.
I knew immediately that Edward was about to tell Bella that they were getting a divorce and that Bree was Edward's mate which I had a feeling was going to go about as well as expected. So not well at all.
One thing I knew about my adoptive sister was that she hated not getting what she wanted. I knew that she wanted Edward but now he was going to tell her that he was leaving her which was going to cause an argument.
