As Bella and I walked into the house together, I was cursing Bella out in my mind for being an idiot. Everything changed though when we saw Alice Cullen standing in the hallway. I watched as Bella collapsed into Alice. Bella finally pulled back and looked at her "how are you hear?"
"I had a vision of the events this afternoon," I chuckled at that as Alice and Bella both glared at me. "Why did you try to kill yourself. You know that it would destroy Charlie and Edward."
Bella looked stunned "I did not try to kill myself. I was doing it for fun, you know cliff diving." Alice looked at her skeptically which made me snort.
Alice looked at me before saying "there's someone in your room that wants to see you." My eyes widened before I headed up the stairs.
I got to the door of my room and noticed that the door was still closed. I stopped and took a breath before opening the door and smiling at seeing Jasper Hale laying on my bed. He looked at me "I told you I'd see you soon."
"Yeah," I spoke softly staring at him. "But I didn't exactly expect this today."
Jasper chuckled as he sat up and opened his arms for me, I wasted no time in walking to him and ending up in his arms. He immediately wrapped them around me hugging me tightly careful not to bruise my ribs. Jasper smiled and kissed my forehead "I don't think I can leave again. It feels amazing not to have an ache in my chest."
"Please don't leave again," I spoke softly. I hated begging but I couldn't do that again. "It was painful not just the ache in my chest but being alone since I don't like Bella. I had Paul and Sam but it wasn't the same."
"I know," he spoke as he tightened his grip on me. "I could feel it too. I don't think I have ever felt so alone being surrounded by a ton of people in a while."
"You ever leave me again, I will punch you."
He outright laughed at that "I'm not planning on it." He made me look at him straight in the eyes. "I'm not leaving again without you." I nodded as I reached up and connected our lips. He immediately responded and deepened the kiss before laying fully down on my bed.
I thanked god that I still had the presence of mind to use my magic to shut the door and to soundproof the entire room. I deepened the kiss again before I headed down to his neck. Jasper was running his hand up and down my sides. The only warning I got when he flipped me over was a growl and a snarl.
We laid in bed and I fell asleep quickly after our activities in Jasper's arms. I woke up still in Jasper's arms and smiled remembering that he had returned.
I headed downstairs to see Jacob on the phone before I heard him say "at the funeral."
I watched as Bella and Jacob nearly got into a fight before Jacob headed to leave only to be stopped by a pale Alice. I looked at them "what happened?"
"Edward is going to the Volturi," Alice spoke quickly. "He thinks that Bella's dead." I was stunned and looked behind me to see that Jasper had joined us. Alice then looked at Bella "we have to stop him."
Bella nodded "I'll get my shoes." I saw Jake follow them outside and heard Bella shout "take car of Charlie." I was in absolute disbelief as all three left leaving me and Jasper together. I was also pissed considering the fact that Bella was leaving Charlie with a letter only.
We'd done this before when it came to James and it only served to remind me of how selfish Bella was and I could only think that her and the mind rapist were a perfect match when it came to that. I didn't know how much longer I could keep helping them considering they pay no attention to how dangerous this shit is for everyone else. I felt Jasper send a wave of calm and I smiled as I moved to hug him just glad that I had him back.
