Falling for the Warlock- Jasper Hale

Interrogations and Complications

I woke up that morning feeling like crap after my call to Jasper when I told him that Bella knew about their secret and Rosalie was less than happy. I took a quick shower before getting dressed in my usual outfit which was a pair of black skinny jeans and a black t shirt with my leather jacket and some combat boots. 

I headed downstairs for breakfast where I met Charlie and I grabbed my coffee before saying "morning dad." 

Charlie looked at me before nodding and saying "good morning Seb. How's school going?" 

I sighed as I took a sip "it's been going good but it's just tiring." Charlie nodded before Bella came down the stairs and promptly moved out the door making me and Charlie look at each other in confusion before we both headed to the window and I was stunned to see that parked next to my black mustang was a silver Volvo that was already annoying me. 

I watched as Bella got into the passenger side before Edward took off at a little bit of a reckless pace. I sighed before saying bye to Charlie and getting into my own car before heading to school, I pulled into the parking lot and parked next to Emmett's jeep which had carried Rosalie, Jasper and Emmett. 

I got out of my car and locked it before putting my backpack on my shoulder and walking over to them. Jasper pulled me into a kiss before we pulled back and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we leaned against Emmett's jeep. We watched as Edward and Bella got out of the Volvo before walking over to the door together. 

I rolled my eyes and groaned before glancing at the three Cullens that were next to me. Jasper sighed then we walked in to school together. I separated from them as I headed to my first class which was Calculus where I walked in and met Jace who was sitting in our usual spot. I walked to my seat right next to him before he looked at me "so how's it going with Jasper?" 

I smiled and honestly couldn't stop the smile from being on my face as I thought about Jasper "it's going great." I smiled as I spoke "I honestly can't complain, he is giving me everything that I want." Jace nodded and smiled as we listened to our teacher before heading to our next couple of classes. After I got out of my third class for the day I met Jasper, Rosalie, and Emmett again for lunch. 

I ate while all of us watched as Bella and Edward ate together and talked before we all headed to our last lessons. I finished my last two classes before meeting Jasper outside as he was leaning on my mustang. I walked to him before kissing him making both of us smile into it feeling all of the fireworks between us as soon as we touched. 

Jasper and I drove back to my place to get some of my stuff so that I could spend the night at the Cullens with Jasper. I walked into my room to grab my weekend bag that I had packed with some shirts and pants before we headed downstairs to say goodbye to Charlie. We watched as Bella and Edward pulled up around the same time the both Billy and Jacob Black had shown up. I saw that Jasper crinkled his nose a little and tightened his hold on my hand which made me smile. 

I made a mental note to ask Jasper what was going on later as I didn't want to do it in front of the Blacks. We watched as Edward seemed a little put off as well before me and Jasper headed down to my car after saying goodbye to the others that had just shown up. I pulled out of the driveway and headed to the Cullens as Jasper sat in the passenger seat. 

I knew that this was going to be the only time that I was going to get to talk to Jasper without the other vampires listening. I looked at him briefly before saying "so what was that back there? When Billy and Jake showed up?" 

Jasper looked at me and sighed "they are shifters, werewolf shifters." I looked at him briefly before he continued "and vampires and shifters don't exactly get along really well." I nodded because that actually made some sense before I pulled into the Cullens driveway and parked next to Rosalie's fancy car. 

We moved our stuff out of the car before we headed up to Jasper's room and immediately laid down together on his bed. He wrapped his arms around me making me smile at him which he returned. He looked at me before saying "are you ok? I know that you are worried about Edward telling Bella about you." 

I sighed "I am worried about it." I nuzzled my head further into his neck before muttering "I just don't want to be found by the Volturi and hunted like my family was." 

Jasper's arms immediately tightened around me "I will never let that happen." I said nothing before Jasper reached to my hold my chin and tilt my head up so that he could look me in the eyes. "Hey, listen to me, if Edward and Bella start to endanger you, I will kill her myself." I smiled before kissing him pushing everything that I was feeling into him including the love and trust that I had for him. He smiled as we pulled away and I rested on his chest before falling asleep with my head on his chest feeling the safest that I had felt in a long time.
