Later, Jasper headed out on a hunting trip with his family and I smirked as Bella was essentially kidnapped by Alice and brought to the house. It meant that I wouldn't have to deal with her.
I was still reeling over my dream last night which included a foreboding sense of doom. I wasn't exactly sure who it was for yet but I had a feeling that it would change everything.
As I waited for Jasper and his family to come back, I practiced more of my magic wanting to be prepared when bad things happened like they usually do around my dumbass, naive adoptive sister.
I still didn't understand how someone like Jasper could choose someone like me especially after knowing that it was basically a death sentence considering all of the people that are interested in coming after me and my kind for all different things. I was forever grateful that he did.
I got the call around 2 in the afternoon that Jasper and his family were back. They asked me to meet them at the house. I got in my car and started the engine making the drive to the Cullens in 15 minutes.
As I stepped out of the car and locked it, I noticed that Jasper had appeared on the porch. I smiled as I walked up the stairs and was instantly pulled into his cold, strong arms. He smiled as he smelled me, reassuring himself that I was ok even though I hadn't gone anywhere or been in any kind of danger.
We walked into the house holding hands and I watched as Rose and Bella were avoiding each other which really didn't surprise me. Carlisle saw me and nodded "how have you been Sebastian?"
I sighed "great, although I had a premonition last night."
Alice and Ben looked at me before Alice spoke "you have premonitions?"
"Yeah," I spoke as all of the Cullens looked at me along with Bella. "Usually I only have them when there's a chance that someone close to me is in danger. And given the past year I'd say that someone is Bella."
Edward stiffened "from who and how?"
I shrugged "no idea but if I had to guess then probably Victoria considering you killed her mate."
"God, you're as delusional as Jasper," Edward spoke rolling his eyes. "Alice and I heard nothing about Victoria wanting revenge. So stop being delusional idiots and dumbasses. Stop making problems where there are none."
Rosalie, Jasper, Emmett, and I all looked at each other before I spoke harshly "one, if you kill someone's mate you can be damn sure they're coming after you. It's common sense. Two, keep insulting them and being annoying and I will rip your limps off, hide them all over the world and give them to the wolves to chew on."
Edward looked terrified and gulped as Jasper and Emmett tried not to laugh but failed. Rosalie and Ben meanwhile just laughed out right at Edward's face and Carlisle just shook his head.
The next day, Bella and I headed to La Push. Bella to visit Jake and I went to see Paul and Sam. I sat at the table with Sam just talking when Sam growled suddenly and I looked at him alarmed along with Paul " what is it?"
Sam sighed "Jake is telling Bella about imprints." I sighed knowing that this was not going to go over well at all. To be honest I felt awful about how Jake was being treated by my sister. She was just using him and leading him on.
Then I heard yelling and a motorcycle revving and watched Bella take off more than likely towards the Cullens. I walked outside and noticed Jake shaking his head. I looked at him confused "what happened?"
"Did you know your sister was changing?" Jake looked at me and I suddenly realized what had happened.
I sighed "yeah I did. I'm not a fan of it either but I can't say anything considering I gave Jasper permission to change me if necessary."
Paul and Sam who had just joined us looked confused "you did?"
"Yeah," I nodded. "But only if I'm dying and it's my last resort." They nodded at that but I could tell that they didn't fully approve but they couldn't argue like they did with Bella considering I am not human. I left shortly after Bella and headed back to the house not aware of the hell that I was about to walk into.
