I had been home for a couple of hours when Bella got home and practically threw her book bag at the wall. I had been in the kitchen getting a drink of juice when I saw her sitting at the table looking confused before asking "alright, I'm going to do something I don't usually do and ask what's wrong?"
She looked at me "what do you know about Edward?"
"I know that he is my boyfriend's brother" I started. "I know that he keeps mainly to himself and that he rarely dates."
She then looked at me "well, in chemistry he barely looked at me and then he ran out of the room like a bat out of hell. He then tried to change classes but there wasn't another class." I just sighed letting her vent knowing that I couldn't say anything because it would most likely out the Cullens. I knew why he had done that, it was probably most likely because she was his blood singer and he was afraid that he was going to kill her.
I just shook my head showing that I had no idea what to say before heading back up to my room before hopping on my laptop and watching Netflix. I then came down around two hours later after dad called me for dinner. It was extremely awkward at dinner because me and Bella were definitely not getting along and don't particularly like each other plus the fact that she's been digging into my boyfriends family.
I headed upstairs and to my room where I laid on my bed watching Netflix on my laptop. I then heard Jasper pounding on the window making me smile before I waved my hand using my magic to let him in. He surged forward and kissed me after I had moved the laptop from my lap. He pinned me down to the bed as I moaned thanking god that I had put a silencing spell on my room when Bella came.
He kissed me for a good couple of minutes before pulling back saying "I can't stay long but how are you doing?"
I sighed as I looked at him "not great considering the fact that Bella is interested in Edward which is going to make it extremely hard to keep our secrets especially because Edward is so bad at keeping secrets." I finished that sentence causing me and Jasper to both chuckle.
Jasper then spoke "I think that Edward is going to try and stay away from her although I'm not completely sure. You may not see him at school in the next few days."
I nodded before he kissed me again and left but not before sending me his love to which I sent the same back. I walked downstairs and was stunned to see Bella cooking. Apparently she went to the store after school and cooked for us. We all ate before Bella asked "what do you know about the Cullens?"
I forced myself to swallow the water that was in my mouth as my father answered "they are a pretty nice family and they seem like lovely people. They don't deserve half of the crap that they get especially with the people that talk about them." I nodded in agreement before Bella and I headed to bed.
The rest of the week went pretty much the same: go to school, notice that Edward was missing, sit with the Cullens, avoid Bella, and spend time with Jasper. The weekend was spent with Jasper in various places learning about his old life and the life that he lives now. Apparently Bella had just now realized that the Cullens were rich as she spent 5 hours talking about it.
We then went back to school Monday and at lunch I sat with the Cullens as usual but not before clocking that Edward was back which I knew about considering I spoke to Jasper about it. I could tell that Bella was even more interested that he was back especially considering the fact that she rarely stopped looking over.
We all finished our lunch and I headed to history with Jasper for yet another class of Jasper correcting out history teacher because right now we're talking about the Civil War and according to Jasper most of their information is wrong. I knew that he was probably right considering the fact that he lived it.
I sat next to Jasper and watched as one hand was holding mine and the other was writing a list of the correct dates, names, and numbers of everything that our teacher was describing. It was actually kind of funny watching him shake his head and then go to write it down.
After all of our classes were done we headed outside and to our cars. My mustang was parked next to the Cullens cars and I was leaning against my door with Jasper leaning next to me and an arm wrapped around my shoulder. We watched as Bella came out of the school looking at Edward who had just come flying out as well. Edward arrived at the cars and told us that he had spoken to Bella and that when their hands touched he felt a spark. I shared a look with Jasper and knew that Rosalie would not be happy about this not to mention the fact that it was getting harder and harder to keep our secrets.
Edward told us that Bella had questioned whether he had contacts considering the fact that his eyes changed color. I looked at Jasper as Edward headed to his Volvo "this secret is not going to last long." He snorted a bit before chuckling and then shook his head agreeing with me. I knew that I was going to have to talk to Bella because she was most likely going to say something about this to me and I just had no idea what to say especially because I don't think anything can stop Bella from being nosy. We got into our cars after seeing Bella drive away and headed to our houses with me promising to come over later tonight after I found out what Bella was thinking.
