~chapter thirty seven~
~a few days later~

„Are you done babe? We have to leave right away, otherwise we'll be late. We still have to pick up Ari."
Haru and Ilwoo had recently settled into their new everyday life.
The older one would wake up the younger one every morning and even conjure up breakfast for him in bed.
Ilwoo loved it and would blush every time and say a thousand times that it wasn't necessary.
When Haru had to go back to work, the blonde took care of the household, made food and almost forgot his own apartment.
However, Haru had already paid the next rent for it, even without the knowledge of his boyfriend.
In the evening, they would either watch TV, read books, or play video games together before falling asleep snuggled up close to each other.
"Yeah, yeah come on. You know I'm still not that thrilled that we're going to your ex's."
The round cute eyes of the younger one got darkened of the thought.
Haru held a large champagne bottle with a silver curled tie in his hand and gave himself one last look in the mirror fixing his hair while he was doing this more for Ilwoo than anyone else.
"I know babe. But believe me. I somehow owe him that. And you also know that you're the only one I would ever want to be with, right?"
Two large hands pinched the younger's soft cheeks, leaving red spots when released.
The blond head nodded willingly again and now stole a little look in the mirror too.
"Do you think I look good like this hyung?"
Ilwoo wore a couple's outfit that complemented the other's.
He had on a beige sweater that featured the left side of a red heart which was complemented by the right side of Haru's top.
"You look adorable babe. And never let anyone tell you otherwise, okay?"
The smaller nodded, his pout turning into a cute laugh that showed his gap-toothed smile.
"Come on, let's go. I'm sure you will have fun too."
The door opened for the blonde and the fresh air greeted a new day.
~A few minutes later~
"Well, you two look nice."
Ari had a pink sweater on and was just about to scramble into the old BMW with the help of the older one.
She still had some bandages wrapped around her body, but otherwise looked pretty healthy again.
"Thanks, we went shopping yesterday and I thought the matching sweaters were really cute when I saw them in the shop window."
All the doors were closed and Haru stepped on the gas pedal.
The hospital was left in the distance and we headed downtown, where all the residential complexes could be found.
"Would you like to quickly bring your things into the apartment before that? If yes, then I will help you. I heard that the elevator hasn't worked for a while."
The redhead nodded her thanks and rolled down the back window.
The cool breeze tickled her face and refreshed the trimming that seemed to be emanating from the blond.
