~chapter thirty three~
POV Author
The drawer jammed and didn't want to open.
With a lot of strength, the little hands tried again.
In Vain.
Desperately Ilwoo rubbed his temples until an idea found its way into his head.
He lay down on his back, lifted his feet against the lower part of the small cabinet and covered the knob with his hands, which was attached to the dark wood.
Then he pulled with all his strength.
At first, the material did not want to give in.
But then the thing slipped out easily and scattered its contents on the bedroom floor.
This had apparently triggered a loud noise, because Haru became aware of it.
"Everything okay babe?"
Loudly it tarised from the kitchen.
"Yes, don't worry. The drawer only clamped a little."
The smaller one first laboriously let up the smaller contents and did things like tablets, business cards and so on, back to their belonging spot.
Now he saw the notes and stretched out his hand with contentment at them.
Then he stopped.
His gaze fell on a small box with ornaments on it.
Hesitantly he reached for it, only to see that it had jumped open due to the hard impact on the ground.
When his hands opened it completely, his breath stalled.
In it was a small paper crane, many pictures and papers with notes on it.
One one of the pictures was me in my black-red school uniform, holding the middleschool diploma in my hands while smiling Hyung.
Beside us stood Ari dressed in a red shirt and short pants.
She smiled proud at me.
No matter what picture I looked at, each one showed me in individual stages of my life.
Primary school, birthday, in the park...
But the one where I had to grin most pictured me how I held a huge ice cream in my hands.
My mouth smeared with chocolate.
Ari had probably taken the picture, because she could not be seen on it.
Haru held a paper handkerchief in his hand and looked anxiously at the top of the ice.
Two ice balls, which seemed threateningly close to falling down made him look that way.

"Wait Ilwoo..."
The little boy didn't hear and disappeared with his head behind the towering mountain of ice cream.
Before anyone could have stopped him, his mouth dived deep and when he looked up again, everything was smeared.
Energetically, the older one who stood behind him clapped his face with his free hand.
In the other he held a few handkerchiefs, which he actually wanted to give Ilwoo above all.
However, he enjoyed his ice cream.
Satisfied, he hummed a melody.
"Ilwooya, I told you to wait."
