~chapter forty three~
POV Akita
Soft snoring woke me up from the rather uncomfortable position at the end of the bed.
I must have fallen asleep without realizing it.
A weight that had two arms and two small legs made itself felt on me.
"Yeseonga?"
"Hello Hyung. I'm hungry."
The mumble reached my ear pleadingly and the fabric of my top was pulled.
My head drifted to the alarm clock with the blue glowing numbers on my bedside table.
1 O 'clock.
My eyes narrowed in disbelief.
To double check, I rubbed them and then sighed because it was true.
"Little one...it's already 1 o'clock. It's way too late to eat, don't you think?"
The cute face pouted in the dim light and made a whimpering noise.
Now I couldn't sleep anyways.
A quick check if Yejun was still asleep and then I reached my hand out for the blond.
"Fine, I'll make you something to eat. Come on, let's go."
The small hand grabbed my thumb and made a joyful hop towards the kitchen.
The click of the switch lit up the room and immediately sent me into shock.
My whole body held its breath for a moment as all I could see out of the corner of my eye was a large shadow.
"Hey... still awake?"
"Ilsung...My gosh, what are you doing here? You scared the living shit out of me. Holy sh..."
The hand cupped the mouth in a silence sign and wide eyes darted to my side in warning.
"There are children present AK. A little more careful with your loose mouth."
I rolled my eyes.
"Well...I'm here because I drank a little too much before and wasn't exactly keen on sleeping in the hospital today. Also, one of the idiots from before took the license plate off my car. I swear if I catch him then he can personally put it back on with his butt. This..."
My sharp gaze stopped him from further words.
"Alright, alright got it..."
"And what do you want, Yeseong? Shall I make you a sandwiche?"
My upper body leaned down towards the smaller, blowing red strands hanging across my face out of the way.
He nodded and then stomped into a waiting position next to Ilsung, who slung him onto his lap with a playful grin.
While I was preparing the food, I kept hearing little giggles.
